Day streaming as gambler experience

Lately, I have started day streaming as a sponsored gambler on one of the casinos I use to be a tester there, I chose one of the known platforms to start my stream, bought the gadgets I need even though Unfortunately I live in a country where the internet speed is limited, the quality of my stream isn’t as good as other popular streamers, however, I have got much support from the community and viewers, had fun and good slot hits.
For now my experience is pretty good for now, but I certainly need some advices from you to upgrade my channel, community, and how to grow and to the next step.

Do you think it is a bad thing to do, promoting gambling?

You can add a disclaimer in all your streams that gambling should be done only within your budget and should be treated as a form of entertainment.
This way you will be making a good impact on others and won't fall in trouble if any mishap happens.
You can also upload advices on how to treat gambling addiction or share stories of gambling addicts and how to prevent it from time to time so that your viewers are aware of how to prevent gambling addiction.

No not really provided that you do it to the right audience

Your audience should be a group of sensible and responsible adults who can make their own decisions of course we are talking about morals and ethics but if we talk about it legally then it would be different since it would mostly depend on your country's rules and regulations. Going back to morals and ethics, I think promoting gambling is not necessarily a bad thing as long as you are not promoting scams fully knowing that what you are promoting is indeed a scam and would put your audience to harm

Indeed, I agree with you, what matters with gambling promotion and gambling streaming channel is your audience, your country regulation, and your drive. Every industry has their audience, every product has their audience, everybody is not your audience.

So your audience matters, maybe your channel could have age restriction, so if they are not up to eighteen, they can't access your channel or something like that, then you are good to go.
Your audience will equally be people that are interested in gambling, people that either play it for intellectual flexing, or profit, or whatever reason why they play it.

As long as what you are promoting is not, luring them to spend all their money in a game that you obviously know will not give them profit.
As long as you are genuinely streaming games and you are not lying to them to get money out of their pocket, then you are good.
And also, if your country does not restrict gambling, you are good to go.

And if you have drive for it, it's something you enjoy doing, so you will be able to do it for the long run.
Someone in the thread said they were gambling streaming, but lost interest after two years, they wanted something else.

So it depends on you, can you sustain your gambling channel? Are you promoting the right thing? Is your country in alignment with it? If yes, then you are good to go.

Nowadays, if you promote gambling, it is not a good thing to do because there are many platforms that can be used where many children or minors will see, like Facebook, where there are many ads that will appear there that are gambling promotions.

Even on YouTube, so for me it's better not to be on platforms like the ones I mentioned; it's even better that we know how to gamble or just keep it to ourselves; this is just my opinion.

We need to be careful not to expose children to such content but gambling streaming might be a source of revenue for people. There are also several means by which parents can protect the phones of children from these gambling ads. Most of these gambling streaming sites are helpful to gamblers because they teach betting strategies.  

I am also of the opinion young adults should be educated about gambling because they might learn it from other sources. It will be better for parents to teach children the dangers of gambling addictions before they are exposed to betting by other people. If they have a home education about it, they can easily overcome peer or even social media pressures.

Back to day streaming as gambler I just curious till this date are they give you an account to play or they just top up some money?

I actually don't want to say this, some creators are given demo accounts for the purpose of attracting many users from their followers and viewers, those accounts have a high chance of winning to cheat viewers. However, many creators are honest and they review honestly even though they receive promotional offers from casinos.

That could be true but we never know for sure. We can only see what they do with that money. They play slot game, lose and win comes many times and make people wants to follow what they did. That makes many people figure out how they can win much money like the streamer. They don't know what is happen behind that streamer.

If people doesn't think about not to follow what the creators do and just watch their gambling activity, they will lose the money and even will make them bankrupt easily. If we can find an honest streamer, we should be happy because we can sharing to them and ask many things about the game and with their win money. Maybe we can learn how to be a streamer like them so we can earn money and we have additional income for ourselves. So be careful when you watch the streamer and make sure that you don't gambling excessively if you want to follow them.

You are correct because people needs to understand the positive and negative effects of it before jumping into it because lot of people can't really understand how the system works but when there winning and people keep showing that part without the opposite, if they venture and turns out the other way they could see the creator as someone who just lured them into that activity maybe just for a purpose of what he could get immediately. In most countries gambling is not illegal, but there are places where streamers who advertise casinos have to follow some guidances to avoid children watching their videos and things like that. But it seems that the OP is not worried about the legality of doing it, but ethics.

Dewi Aries explained it well: if you are honest and explain the audience from time to time that gambling is not only about winning money and having fun but it also poses serious risks, you will get some of the peace of mind that seems you need.

BTW, I don't know if it has been mentioned already, but I've been told that some pornstars have also started to place casino ads in their videos. Hard to beat for the OP and other content creators, if companies start putting their money in that industry to advertise them instead.

This is the reason why I despise many influencers here in our country right now.
A few years ago, I've been following many influencers that are focusing on playing online games (mainly MOBA games), because I've been playing it as well and I want to learn from them. Now, most of them resorted to "the plague" that's been spreading online and that is to promote online gambling without thinking of their followers and the possible effects of it towards them.

On the other hand, even though I despise all of them, I can't change the fact that they're doing it because they have a family behind them. When they're playing those MOBA games, they're not being paid by the company by promoting the game. In promoting the gambling casino, they're being paid I think per video stream or on a monthly basis. I mean if you're a small influencer, you will really take the opportunity of being paid just by promoting the casino so I don't blame them. It's just that, they're doing it because of how hard life is currently.

Whatever the case is, it's already on many social media platforms and there's no stopping them currently, so it's up to us if we will be curious, follow them and gamble as well or just remain as a viewer.

Personally I have nothing against advertising gambling since it's a legitimate activity. It's your hustle and you're not breaking any rules with your engagement in it. Whether we like it or not people would always patronize what's important to them and those who are interested in gambling activities would always patronize gambling channels.

The only advise I'll give is to keep a strict business approach to your page, don't get addicted to gambling so you'll still have your head straight to deliver on your terms.

If you are an affiliate of a certain platform at the same time that you are a streamer then it would really be an advantage on which of course it would really be understandable that they would really be hiring you up considering on the network you do have then exposure would really be more widen and this is really that something good for the business. As for the agreement then this is something that in between parties and speaking about ethicality then this is something that comes into personal point or view. As part of marketing then i dont really see any issues in regarding to this as long you dont
make yourself to be  that obviously deceptive or giving out those kind of too much positive and false approach then you wont really be getting any issues into the community.

If you really want to get success as a streamer then I suggest you to be honest with the audience who follow you. These days most streamers are looking to make money for themselves and for that they misguide their viewers and give them false hopes that can't be in real. It's much better to be honest with your viewers and that will help you for long term.
