It's not news anymore. PH is a key player towards crypto ever since the ATH way back 2017, even before that, there are many crypto related business already here like kind of wallets and exchange at that time, how much more now. But the main thing is there are still ignorance for the new users even the old ones for not being aware of scams then blame it on the technology itself.

Thanks to NFT games first on the last bull run of 2021 and then, the tapping apps that we're having right now. So, every bull run there's a craze that our fellow countrymen are being hooked to. It's no longer something new that we're seeing the surge in the crypto apps if you're pertaining about it through google playstore. That's because these apps are offering airdrops and most of our fellow are hoping to land on a good project that will distribute some bucks in exchange of those points that they're grinding for.

This is the typical behavior of the Filipino towards the trend. We are always just following the herd as long as there’s profit involved since we are easy to be convinced once there’s already a proof of profit.

Just recently notice this after during the pandemic era where people keep using their NFT or play to earn and they see the potential with the use of crypto to earn a large amount of money as you can see now people keep joining into different projects just to keep grinding for their whitelist, pre-sale and recently tons of opportunity like web3 projects can be use as their work at the same time. Honestly, the Philippines is really getting into crypto, and this is something I've known for a while now. I know some crypto developers are also emerging from there.
I also don't think any exchange excludes the Philippines from the countries they support so far. Although according to this news , Bitget dominates crypto app downloads in that region, I'm sure that some other exchanges will also have a large number of users as well.
