It is easy to guess the intentions and goals of Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy when they talked about the mass adoption of Bitcoin in their speeches. It should be underlined that soon there will be a new presidential election in the US, the content of their speeches will not be free from political promises to attract more people to support them. The promise may be realized or just a way to take advantage of the growing Bitcoin community, but if they are elected, hopefully they can fulfill their promise.

The President has the power and strength in any aspect to do something new, but the power of the people is much greater and can shake the presidential seat if the policies taken are contrary to democratic values. What they said coincided with the presidential election period, so don't expect much from their sweet words because they are very good at being two-faced.

There's zero chance for Robert Kennedy to become a US president, and yet he still makes absurd promises.
What's the point for the US government accumulating BTC? The USA has to pay it's gigantic national debt and cover the huge annual budget deficit. Buying and storing 500 BTC per day won't solve this issue. The BTC price might hit 500K or even 1 million, if the USA starts HODLing 4 million Bitcoins, but what's the point? The US dollar will continue it's devaluation and Bitcoin is still not suitable for a global currency.

Politicians have advisors who understand what is trending and what the public likes, and that will be used as a campaign tool to attract many voters so they can win the election, so never believe everything they say either before or after being elected because their focus is only on how to win the election, not how to carry out what the public needs and what they promised during the campaign.

Thier ideology is same accross all the part of the world and when an election approaches, it's at that point they start looking for what a particular group of people have been yearning for, make promises to provide those things just to secure there votes and after they've gotten the attention they're in need of and gets elected, that becomes the end of the story for you.

I reckon the decision is very easy, the vote will be for Trump. For my personal stance, issues like abortion and generally not becoming a fascist state would take precedence over crypto.  Can't stand those Republicans obsessed with their dark-age religious dogma and their deplorable, antiquated "values".  And the fact that they're willing to adopt totalitarianism to make it happen is just appalling.  If I had ever lived in America, I'd have almost certainly left by now, it's that sickening.  Harris all the way.

Of course, issues related to the national economy and world security are much more important, cryptocurrencies are not the biggest and most important factor that will determine the outcome of this election. But we are on a bitcoin forum and what people care about most is things related to bitcoin, not news like abortion, immigration, rent prices...And as bitcoin investors, it's no surprise that the majority would favor Trump over Harris, and I also see no reason to vote for Harris, who will continue to pursue anti-corruption policies bitcoin, and the cryptocurrency that Biden leaves behind.

Politicians are sweet talkers. This seems to be the topmost prerequisite for being one. Especially during the campaign season, they don't think twice dropping one promise after another. You won't try to especially since you know that's about the best strategy you've got going for you and if I were to add, the only thing giving him an edge over Kamala. Regarding abortion, I think it depends on each person as well as each religion. As far as I know, Catholicism prohibits abortion in any form because it is life and most Americans are Catholic, but what is puzzling is that many people do not support this law. In addition, according to the news I read, abortion regulations will depend on the week of pregnancy, I really don't support giving up life at 7 or 8 months of pregnancy. Anyone who has ever had a child will understand what a sin it is to abandon a child.

In general there are many issues to discuss in the election but as bitcoin investors, we should support those who support bitcoin instead of voting for those who are against us.

This is also the reason why I don't like to see Bitcoin's price increasing because of these politicians because at the end of the day, we don't know their TRUE intentions, and they might only be using Bitcoin for their own sake. We know that these politicians have 2 personas. 1 is being selfish where they want to implement anything that they want, and there's another one which is them becoming sweet talkers when election comes.

Many might hate Trump and his way of campaigning himself, but looking at his opponent/s, I don't think that there's anybody that comes close to him. But honestly, when it comes to the US elections, I think that even casting a vote for Trump just because of him suddenly deciding to become pro-Bitcoin (let's not forget how anti-Bitcoin he used to be in the past) is too much. Choosing the President is about so much more than Bitcoin. It's about major policies and priorities. What does the candidate plan to do in terms of foreign policy, and what are his/her domestic priorities? What's the view on tackling climate change, on migration, on the level of social support a state should or shouldn't provide? If the candidate's positions on those issues are close to your own, it makes sense to vote for that person. Being pro-crypto, anti-crypto, or neutral to cryptos can be another factor alongside the aforementioned ones at best, but it should not be the sole point that informs how to cast the vote.

They usually became more friendly to people when election is coming and we should be more careful on the promises they say since they are professional for always telling a lie and once those jerks win they forget everything what they promise to people. So its maybe more better not give to much hope regarding on their promise to make certain country especially in USA to became a bitcoin friendly nation. Since maybe they just want to be relevant for a while and catch the votes of people.
