This is similar to trying to acquire a loan using domain names as collateral. The problem is that there is no ready market for such. The seller has to be very patient until an interested buyer comes along. Now imagine you default the loan. The lender has to look for a buyer or wait for weeks, months or even a year for someone to buy the domain. This is not good for lending business at all.
