We know crypto usage is growing on a daily basis therefore companies, agencies, governments and many more will find ways to utilise it if it suits their agenda. Whether it is one country today and another tomorrow, the list will keep on growing.

Keeping that aside, what I find more interesting about this thread than the topic itself, is that the OP (Ndabagi01) created the thread on 17th August 2024 and then made the next post on 24th August 2024 and after that did not post again. He has been busy posting in many threads elsewhere. If the OP is no longer posting in a thread they created and the news they publicised is now effectively old news, then locking the thread would probably be the better option.

After looking at the post history of the OP, this thread This is what I call spam feeder comes to mind.

We can't down play the value crypto has brought to the global economy if truth be told. It's just sad that governments of the world know it but are acting pretentiously. They go against cryptos as an entity of government but are quick to embrace it as individuals in their closets. Some of them have crypto investment.

The value that cryto has brought to the global economy is way beyond what many of us know. And I'm pretty sure this is just the beginning because the discovery is less thsb than 2 decades ago and not much of the opportunities have been exploited by the world.

The government's been scary about the technology for the fear that the world would be more communist than they ever wished it to be as they may not be able to effectively control values attached to the money singlehandedly which is true to a large extent, hence their continued resistance to the technology .

Not something new or really that shocking on which the government would really be that wanting or liking on which of course they do always prefer for things to be centralized as much as possible or something that they could be able to control and manipulate. On th moment that they've seen something that cant really be able to control on then they would really be doing their very best on trying to get rid of it. Ex. Bitcoin or generally cryptocurrencies, but we've seen that they've failed into this part and despite of how many bans and prohibites and fuds that had been created but still this market stood strong and had become even more stronger
as the years passing by. Community or supporters are growing in numbers on which it do simply shows that there is really that having that progress.

Any news or events that do talks about adoption then it will really be always a positive thing. We are gradually embracing out Bitcoin and other related utilities on which it could really be that applied into our
daily living on which it does really give out that kind of convenience and that what matter the most. We do hope that global adoption would really be that becomes even more rampant on the years to come
and now that government is already recognizing its existence then we can actually expect that there would be much more in upcoming years.

I am not surprised to hear about this. The world is gradually evolving and currently I think this is financial evolution taking place. So the country is just only taking a strategic position and getting ready for the wave as it come towards their direction. This is a smart move and they just stole caught the attention of many crypto enthusiasts and tourist who would begin to troop in their nation as it already has been in the past.

Be it as it may, the country is already prepared to welcome and embrace the current development in technology and financial sector which would make them a center  of attraction as they already are but this time it would be in a higher mode of engagement because they have accepted, approved and doing that means that crypto is now legal in the country if I am not mistaken.

I totally agree. Dubai is just one of those countries who experience crypto progress in their own area, so as much as utilization is concern, then why not use it as a salary payment as long as the employer and employees mutually agrees on it. In fact, that's an edge on part of the employees as they can start saving some bitcoin for their future investment, regardless of its volatility matter.

Do you also agree that this thread was created by the OP in order to hope for merits but when he did not receive any he moved on to create other threads and left this one. If you look at the post history of the OP he has a pattern of doing this and there are several other accounts that engage in the same thing. The only motive that comes to mind is merits.
