Some people may prefer to use the low fee and prefer to wait. But I think what that is most important is to use the wallet that supports replace-by-fee. The are many bitcoin wallets that are supporting RBF.
Yeah that's true but not everyone understands what RBF means especially newbies and some can't even tell if their transaction supports it or not . The fact is is always better to make use of an average fee instead of trying to cut fees and making use of a fee that will leave your transaction stuck on the MEMPOOL for literally days .
Sometimes some wallets don't even support CPFP and so the receiver may just think that the sender hasn't sent the coins only a few wallets mostly open source ones like Electrum display
RECEIVING when someone sends some coins before they are confirmed some other wallets especially custodial will only display a balance addition after 1 or 2 confirmations.
