According to the bible: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Faith and hope as synonymously used are what keeps every human going in life about tomorrow even as no one could be exact about what tomorrow holds. And, there's nothing mockery about having faith, for which is why I had to agree with what @BADecker said, it's the interpretation of what's a mockery to you that makes it hurt and not really the mockery itself. I see nothing mockery about having faith in something irrespective of how it turn out at the end.

you only feel mocked because you want to take the place of what you believe in when it's being ridiculed by people that don't believe in it. Believe it or not, we are only living because we have faith. The problem of men today is faith and faith is believe. You can't believe in what you don't know, some believe are just temporal, believe works with knowledge you can't have faith in what you don't know about. To be honest with you, you should try and seek for psychological help and try to get your life together, because your thoughts are clearly getting into the area of nihilism, which is dangerous. Is a good definition of mockery because sometimes people are the reason why they are being mocked, however let me use a mockery I witnessed on someone whom by the faith believes that as a child of God they are not supposed to take medications even when they are sick so they are always mocked to have misunderstood the word of God base on the fact that their was no chapter that stated that, so actually mockery can come from so many form even when you are doing something that's right people who object it will always look for a way to make a mockery of what you belief on, so sometimes if someone consider the mockery of people they would even be scared in doing anything meaningful of their live.

Interesting that you say there is no proof about anyhting in life or about whats happens after life, but at same time you are convinced that it ends with mockery.

I don't really get the point your driving at OP, faith is a symbol of hope, it is the driving force that has propelled Human Race up to this point, our believe system can be different but the beauty of it is seeing everyone prosperous no matter your believe. You don't mock the belief system of another because you might not know the fate lying ahead of you, so there should be unity in diversity. The American moto says "IN GOD WE TRUST", trust is an essential commodity human beings use when working on system, a believing that there is a supernatural being that they derive their powers help them to push on to the American Dream, and so far this believe has been working perfectly for them.
