Maybe addition of a few VIP users could completely change the narrative.
I think this is one of the main reasons. These VIPs (we all know who they are) are highly reputable members of the forum, and they really care about keeping the place clean, especially when it comes to fighting spam. So they’re always pitching in ideas to improve things. I had no clue that @Igebotz, who’s a staff member here, is one of the raters - that says a lot. I mean, if a forum staff member is backing this campaign, it’s a clear sign it’s not a spam fest. They wouldn’t be in that position if they weren’t serious about enforcing the rules.
@Don Pedro Dinero, I get your concerns about the forum. But in this case, I feel like you could've acted a bit hastily. Just because you saw one person looking spammy doesn’t mean the whole campaign should be called out. Maybe the thread title could’ve been more specific, like calling out that one member rather than dragging the entire campaign down.
