What Does a Bull Run Feel Like in Crypto?

It is exciting to experience a bull run because that will be your best moment to sell almost all of your crypto assets after you hold for some time. Our emotion will be impact because of many altcoins or Bitcoin we have can increase so high and gives us a big profit. We will be happy and can not say too much because our feelings at that time can be emotional.

But we must still control our emotion because we need to monitor all of our coins and sell the coins when we have a right chance. If we lose control, we will be late to sell the coins and makes us can not take the profit. We must stay calm and check all of our coins and see which coin that can achieve our target price. Having a target price to sell is necessary so you will not late to sell at your target price.

I’ve been through some ups and downs in the crypto market, but I haven’t really experienced a true bull run yet. For those who’ve been around during one, I’m curious:

What’s it actually like to experience a bull run in crypto?

How does it feel to watch your portfolio grow? How do you manage the emotions—whether it's excitement, anxiety, or even FOMO? Were there any moments where things went too fast and got overwhelming?

Also, how do you stay level-headed and make smart decisions when prices are skyrocketing?

I’d love to hear your stories and advice!

Bull run feelings are actually very good feelings because you will watch your wallet or portfolio grow gradually.

Looking at your portfolio from time to time is not that advisable because your emotions will lead you to make an easy sell without waiting to get the right profit you need.

If you hold altcoins, you can always check because the market can go down anytime despite the bull run. So you can manage your wallets to take a profit at the right time in case you want to buy more when the price goes down again.

However, if you invest in Bitcoin, you can take your eyes off your portfolio for a while until the expected time you wish to hold your Bitcoin which should be from two years and above.

That is where most people who are in bull run for the first time get confused. Because they don't know where to stop. Never regret if you have sold your coins on profit. It does not really matter how much you made from that, the good thing is you sold at profit. Again, people think I did very good selling at high price when the market is dumping. But, you should not regret whatever you have done.

Every holder should have their target, so they know where to stop. I haven't set any goal for the upcoming bullrun yet, but I know when to stop if I do not plan to hold it for a decade.

Futhermore, the bull market is always full of disguise opportunity that are created to make you broke but you'll think that they're opportunity to make you victorious. Don't be a victim to all those false opportunities and focus on investing on coins with the right fundamentals and potentials. After the bull market, all the disguise coins created for quick profit will seize to exist hence they're not worth buying unless you can time the market perfectly and sell before they begin to crash. Bull market are the happiest time in the market because you can make profits when you buy the right coins.

The extra greed is basically because they can count the days to their retirement and the idea of "if this goes on for another 37 days then I can retire" ends up with a shame because price crashes before they can. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people who retired at early age thanks to crypto, plenty of people are living a great life thanks to crypto bull runs as well, I am not saying it can't be done, it's been done many times over now.

I am just saying there are a lot of newbies how join late and catch the last days or weeks and that is why they end up dreaming like the ones who retired, and fail and do not see the signs that bull is over and the bear is starting. This is the risk we are taking and hopefully things will get better with time. I am feeling more about this than anything else, I believe the results will be very different for the upcoming one because bitcoin has been around for a long time and even newbies will know better than that.

Limits should be put in, otherwise, there is no target to achieve or break.
A trader or a holder even without the goal in mind is prey for the market and money makers.

Crypto became glorified with many thoughts about a quick buck in mind, whereas in reality, it's much more than that.
Many don't get it and get rekt afterward, loosing their initial funds, adapting to everything the did before, and getting up above those who lost the spirit at this stage.

I've never experienced the full bull run myself but with the little I witnessed between 2022 and now, I can say that the feeling is always good. It's such a determined bullish movement you can trust. No buyer loses their money at that time, so the confidence is there.

How does it feel to watch your portfolio grow? How do you manage the emotions—whether it's excitement, anxiety, or even FOMO? Were there any moments where things went too fast and got overwhelming?

The feeling is always positive and many make the mistake of liquidating their assets faster for fear of retracement but with the level of my understanding on Bitcointalk, I know it's a long-term thing, so it's better to keep it for at least 2.5 years. That's how I curb the emotions.

Also, how do you stay level-headed and make smart decisions when prices are skyrocketing?

At that point of insane bullish achievements, I then calm myself and resort to my weekly and monthly charts. They will definitely be my guide to know the best time to divest.

That is the best season many crypto holders use to trade their crypto to earn income from the bull, In bull season, you will begin to see population of traders in the market trading their crypto to have the opportunity to buy when the price decrease to enter bear season, As a beginner in crypto trading, make sure you buy in the bear season and trade in the bull season to test the benefits in trading crypto in the bull. If a person does have the targets set - profits will be made in no time.
Especially on the market like now - many factors contribute to the whole rally behind BTC and it won't stop, in my opinion, at least it seems bright for now.

As it was said - Grass is on the rise, and I agree with you - most big alts would move alongside BTC, and with some time put, they would pump for some percent, or even up to 15-20% (we are talking about big and reliable alts).
I am interested though why TON isn't feeling bullish..
