You know I don't believe in RTP; that's not true in my opinion; although I often play slots games and I rarely win big there, I always lose. If there is a chance for me to win, the amount is not that big. It's just a little bit over my gambling amount limits.
Now the volatility that you are talking about, I don't seem to get your point. I know that it is unpredictable to determine whether we will win or lose when we play gambling;
that is the only idea that I know.
I don't look at RTP either, I have played slots with lower and higher RTP and I have lost/won and had long streaks of dead spins on all slots I have played. If we have a lucky day we will win whatever slot we choose, lower/higher risk is all the same, it's all about luck.
High volatility slots are attractive. Usually, they have a few types of bonus rounds, even normal spins can be crazy long with cascading reels, different sizes of symbols, different multipliers, wilds... My favorites are high-volatility slots, and I mostly play them.
