Armory offline

Hi everyone.

I have a wallet from ages ago that i have printed out the root key on paper. im 90% sure theres nothing in there, but for peace of mind i'd like to check. However i am having issues with Armory, and being on windows 11 i belive it is no longer supported.

So, I cannot get online with armory, so i cant get any public keys to check https://blockstream.info/ for instance, so im basically stuck. Does anyone know how i can dig myself out of this hole? Like noted earlier, the only thing i really have is my root key. Since i cant get online with Armory, i do not have anything else.

Download and install any Linux you like, install Armory, restore your root key, check the addresses. The last 2 steps can be done offline for safety.

We are also fighting with recovery of armory wallet.
The approach that is more feasible for you:
1. Download old Armory wallet
2. Download OLD ! OLD bitcoin CORE.
3. Connect it together and sync.

Trick is to download OLD bitcoin core for armory.

If you tried this already, then why don't you specify which old version of Bitcoin Core should be better used than current for Armory?

What kind of feature does Armory need from an old Bitcoin Core version that doesn't work in recent versions of Bitcoin Core? (I've no experience with Armory, though.)
