Think I've found an edge, now what?

Hi guys. Long time lurker, first time poster.

Over the course of the 12 months, I think I've found an edge with soccer betting. Specifically goal totals and team totals. I mostly target full match, second half totals, and specific team totals. In these 12 months, I've managed to turn a starting bankroll of $4,000 into a little over $180,000.

The issue I am facing now is that most of the legal bookies I have used, including but not limited to: bet365, betano, betway, fanduel, draftkings etc, have limited my bets to pennies or a few dollars per bet, even for the well known leagues. I decided to give a few popular crypto bookies a try, and those have limited me even faster. The only bookie that has not limited me is pinnacle, but they have been giving me issues with cashing out and are consistently delaying my withdrawals/asking for documentation.

So the question is, what would you do in my situation? Please do not say Vegas because I don't think I am at that level yet, especially considering I am still in college and currently studying. I'm mostly an introvert as well and spend 18 hrs a day on the computer. I find myself constantly looking for good betting opportunities and think I could do this full time in the future, I just don't know how. With bookies clearly limiting winners, I'm not sure where to turn. I've read about Haralabos Voulgaris and how he used to have "beards" place bets for him, including Floyd Mayweather, but I don't know how I would go about doing that.

Well about the bookies If I were you I mean if I found the key to always win then the only problem right now is to look for the best bookies which is hard since you "limited" in some way. For now you need to reduce the number I mean if you always get limited when bet high try reduce the number might help

I find it hard to believe that casinos would be limited the bets of people just for having a high winning percentage.  Certainly this isn't something that Stake has done to you.  I could see maybe some of the smaller ones...  Everyone has runs of good luck though and it can be great until it isn't anymore.  Casinos know this.  They wouldn't stop people who are up from gambling, then they would always be losers.  The more you win the more they want you at the tables giving back those winnings.

I always see a post like this and another thing that makes me wonder is that it only happens in sports betting when there are also skill-based games in casinos. Is it because sports betting is still more winnable than them? HHmm.. Maybe? You got a point there about Stake because they are a huge betting site and they have a lot of capital to pay for their winners but it might still be annoying to see the same person winning a high amount of money over and over again. It can still cause a dent on them.

Some gamblers are still wise that once they notice that their luck have now run out, they will also run away from the casino even for quite some time.

If this really works for you Op, then why not always make use of it and choose the same strategy for your gambling, i understand that it may be what you have discovered for yourself, but not all gamblers might be interested in using the same pattern as with you, because they way we are all experience in gambling differs from each other and we may not have to compare what works for us with others approach.

Apparently the OP is lying, he is telling this story so that later people will get in touch with him and then he will suggest people to give him their casino account details, this is because OP is lying that he needs this data to use these accounts in betting and then he will give people some money while the real objective of the OP is that when he has access to people's accounts he will withdraw all the funds from people and disappear. This type of scheme is very obvious, if this guy managed to make a lot of money in bookmakers he wouldn't even make this post here on this forum because the bookmakers wouldn't limit him as long as he played honestly.

It's surprising to read such things here. I think everyone is aware of that, casino games are not the same thing as sport betting, because they are fully random and you can't overcome the mathematical house edge in the long run, so yes for those games you are very unlikely to get limited or banned if you have a nice winning streak or even a good track record in the long term except maybe if you find and exploit a loophole on some games. But sport betting is not fully random, so if you are a good bettor, you can overcome the margin and make profits in the long run instead of the opposite. Most of sportsbooks will limit your bets including the one you are promoting. Only a few like Pinnacle or SBOBet won't do it but they don't offer exactly the same bets and they are not available from everywhere.

So, you find a good betting method and now the casinos are locking the amount of your bets, for that you can ask to your friends if they can loan their accounts to you.

Or Another way is to use a casino that will not limit your betting amount, some good option are meta win or stake.

Any advice would be appreciated. I am mostly just looking for advice or stories from people in a similar situation. I'm not winning at a 100% win rate either, but out of lets say 4 bets, I am consistently able to win 3/4. Some days I would even just place 1 "safe bet", and if that safe bet won, I would call it a day, or if it lost, I would double down on the next and take my winnings and run. The only issue is that many of the bookies I have used have limited me to the point where even if I lost just $500, I would be unable to place $1,000 on the next bet. It's super frustrating, especially with a bankroll of over $180,000. Yet I was just scrolling through sites like Ladbrokes and Stake, and I see some people placing $100,000+ bets per match. How is this possible?

Are these people sponsored or something?

As long as rank is concerned, the dude you replied to is a newbie, forget the fact that he joined the forum since 2019, some people register an account here on the forum and abandon it the very next day or few days or weeks after. For such people, when ever they return back to the forum, they remain newbies regardless of whether the account was register 5 or 10 years ago, and as such, treat their comments as one coming from a newbie and not old member.
