Before you think of investing in Another coin you should acknowledge the risks and challenges associated to it.

As we all know BTC is not long a small coin in the crypto space, even as BTC is a volatile asset just like other coins out there, BTC has proving to us his potential returns and benefits that worth BTC to be invest on.

BTC as a big asset in the crypto space has no liquidity risks, on like other small coin out there that may have low liquidity making them harder to buy or quick to sell.

As we all know cryptocurrency are largely unregulated, and changes in regulation could impact negatively to their value, but not in bitcoin what ever regulatory in the crypto  space can't impact negatively to bitcoin value.

With this four points of my I think BTC worth to be recognise as the only asset that should be invest on without have double mind of considering another asset in the crypto space, because they are all shiftcoins and don't worth any form of hyping.

Short term investment and trading is good for altcoins but investing in them long term might may not be good. Ethereum as an example that disappointed people. The price was $4890 or so in November 2021 but was not able to go more than $4100 some months ago. Coins like Solana is not worth holding during bear market because it is too volatile. When bear market will come, you will understand what I means. BNB got to all-time high but not really increased pass it just like Solana. I prefer to gamble with these coins. I prefer bitcoin for long term investment.

You are losing that amount of money on the coin you hold because you either did not do proper research on it or you miscalculated your entry point, which led to buying when the market was already settling for a drop, which is why I also agree with the comment above: altcoins are only meant for short-term profit; nothing much is holding it for long. It is at your own risk; you might be used to cover other takers liquidity, and some find it hard to get back to their ATH after dropping down from it.

this is not the matter of being in the crypto space for long, if you have being the crypto space for long that one doesn't you expect in knowing all the coin, go to your bybit app and search for DEFI you we see the coin there I'm not here to be saying futions, if it we be possible for me to send your a screenshot I will, but go and search for the coin.

Among other coins bitcoin is the most promising coin, but that will not make you to devalue other coins, I know that bitcoin may last for long time when you invest on it,
