Polymerbit reached out to me and asked that I let everyone know that he had an accident and has broken his collarbone and may not respond quickly or may not even respond at all via email and/or text. For those that need to reach him and they have the contact details, may reach him via a phone call.

He does not want anyone to be concerned that he has disappeared or that he may rug or any such nonsensical thing. And if you have any issues otherwise, please let me know and I can address them - Mostly I will be taking notes and relaying them but I may be able to assist as well.

He wanted everyone to know that if and when he does not respond, he apologizes in advance for that and/or any delays that this may cause.

I told him everyone here would understand and that he should focus on recovery.

the information about polymerbit's accident also reached us in the Icarus group yesterday and shocked us at first because we didn't know exactly what had happened
polymerbit contacted us a few hours later and gave us the all-clear - he partially fell down a mountain and now needs an operation...

I just saw him about a week ago, we had more plans but he just fell off so this all makes perfect sense, glad he will be okay, get better soon bud.

small update...
just spoke to polymerbit and asked about his health status
he told me that the surgery went well and that he now has a long road to recovery ahead of him
