Isn't it kind of stupid to pay taxes on gambling winnings?

Even if I'm in a country that is not mine Instead of me to keep such rules I will rather quit from gambling, though in my country such rules does not exist. In my country if you experience win definitely you will be paid just exactly the amount that is shown as the potential wining no one is going to remove anything from your wining, honestly if I happens to be in those countries where they tax gamblers definitely i won't even think of playing gamble anymore.

I don't pay taxes for gambling in my country , and even if my country's government Imposes them, I'm sure no one will pay them, since no one will give more money to a government like mine, mainly for that reason.

I was just thinking, sometimes we win, but overall, we still lose more in gambling. So what if one day I win a big amount, something that would actually feel satisfying as a gambler, but overall, it still wouldn’t offset all my losses?

we are not supposed to pay tax in gambling individually because the gambling company is paying tax to that particular country so since the company is paying tax the gamblers are not supposed to pay any tax to the Country except that it is a country that take a tax in everything they are doing, so I believe that some countries that does not involve much tax in their country does not take any tax from individual who participating gambling but countries who is the highly tax country do take tax from anybody for any business, for any individual also

Thats the main sense, If they are trying out to tax those winnings then they should be also making out some laws to have some cashbacks into those who do suffer loses to make it balance. Right? We do know that these are businesses and they are the ones that being taxed and those things came or would be deducted into their overall revenue on which this is understandable or something where businesses are obliged to do so because there's no sense that they've been taxed already by the government and now they are trying to look after for those gamblers who do make out some wins too? Thats too much or something that be called as an abuse and i do agree with its something stupid to pay taxes with your winnings, not unless if you are a winner of a lottery then expect that they would come after you or mandating to pay up taxes or being that deducted.

If ever a certain gambler do play on a certain platform on which having those kind of regulations then pretty sure they would be finding up another place on which they could hang on and wont be needing up to pay up some tax deduction at the moment that they do win something significant. Lets say that most gamblers are losers, but cant be denied that there are those people who are that lucky enough and could be able to pull off some huge wins, although the chances are rare or not that common but it do really sucks that after all the loses you do have and on the moment you do win but ended up on getting taxed or having deductions on which it do really sucks.

It is always a profit for the government through tax it seems. We mostly see such taxation when someone wins a jackpot. The news is very clear to explain how much tax they had to pay and how much they got at hand. Same happens with the who wants to be a billionaire show and its other country counterparts. They are heavily promoted to make every common person dream of the get-rich-quick dream.

Having to pay on winning is something I agree with. Your luck clicked and you win something, you have to pay taxes just like any other earning. Otherwise what will the news media have that is print worthy?
