Stabke coin dey tied to one fiat currency so if that currency dey experience inflation the stable coin sef go join am dey experience that volatility,  and that na why I no support the idea of say make Nigeria get em own stable coin because then go just dey sell am against dollar and that fit trigger more volatility. Bitcoin sef dey volatile oo but em volatile tend to approach the bull rather than dump.

We know that they both have risk but shitcoins have more risk than bitcoin because there are a lot of scam projects pout there and that is why it is better in something you have more confidence in to invest because if its about bitcoin when the prices comes down it will eventually go up but when it comes to bitcoin majority of them done even survive the heat because we have seen different cases were its hard to be able to invest in bitcoin and not have rest of mind.

It is better to take BTC risk than altcoin risk, not that u are not going to earn profit from altcoin but the confident to hodl altcoin for long periods of time before u can trade to earn good profit is not too guarantee compare to BTC u will hodl like 3 or 4  years to earn big profits. For u to succeed in those decentralized currency investment that has risk, ensure u have the knowledge of the investment before taking their risk so that whenever the price is falling in the market it will not cause u high blood pressure.

To me, I think the major risk involved in Crypto investment is investing on the wrong Cryptocurrency, there are lots of Cryptos bur there's only one Cryptocurrency that's good for investment and it's no other but Bitcoin, others are pump and dumps with short-term features and the others of the project can take their profits which would cause a rug pull but that doesn't occur when you invest in Bitcoin, it has long-term goals and strategies that could help against volatility for instance the DCA.
