which cashless system is milking us? to be fair with what we are currently using, it is not true that the cashless policy is milking us as such. we can comfortably talk about the advantage that bitcoin has over the fiat without actually painting fiat black as though we are not using it at least conveniently. cashless policy has gone a long way to make things easier for people such that we no longer rely on going to stand on ques just to get some cash for our daily transaction. because most stores now accept transfer, we are spending less on our transaction.

We are already using bitcoin and that is because we trust it. if the degree of adoption also increases, we already know too much about bitcoin to worry about acceptance at this stage. just learn to cope with bitcoin and the fiat and leverage them all to your advantage. even if bitcoin goes mainstream, it is still not possible to think that we are anywhere close to times when fiat will be totally replaced.

If i get Marchants and retailers that take bitcoin as payment and the transactions fees is near zero then yes most of ys will prefer bitcoin to bank, infact even with the current fees in bitcoin, some are still using crypto like bitcoin and the rest to make payments for goods, we habe to come to a conclusions that mainstream means wider acceptance so for that reason, bitcoin will definitely run and work better than the banking system.

Bitcoin transaction fee is still higher than all the charges bank and government dey collect because of the exchange rate difference. Before you go complete some transactions in bitcoin, you go pay fee or around $0.5 which when converted to Naira dey around N700. Now if you do the same transaction even in commercial bank like GTB, them go collect highest N100 for everything and this one show say fiat still dey cheaper. Therefore, people go still prefer fiat for daily payments unless maybe you add the other monthly SMS charges, account maintenance charges and the other dubious charges they introduce to cut out money. For current account, bitcoin is far better.

Bitcoin has already been trusted by the majority of people who uses it here in Nigeria, and when I say that, I literally mean Bitcoin stored in a non custodial wallet where you own it's private keys and have full control over it. E dey vex me sef, e hard to withdraw 50k upwards from bank using withdrawal slip or cheque especially in Access Bank, all the money are now been traded to POS Merchant for business and no money in the bank at the moment. Banks will refer you to POS if you want to withdraw huge amount of money, imagine the nonsense.

Sure from next year, when the new tax regim in Nigeria will start. I mean the personal income tax that is when we will know the real pricing and higher cost of leaving and at that time people will start heading towards decentralized currencies like bitcoin for transactions and to caught down cost of making transactions.

At that time most market people like car dealers and other sectors of the informal economy will start accepting bitcoin, at that we can at least have some alternative in bitcoin.

I no really grab wetin you mean by silent tax, abi you mean the new system of taxation wey federal government wan use for us come 2026? If na that one, na normal tax wey citizens suppose dey pay and na so e suppose be for democratically system of government. The problem now na whether them go use the money put into good use for our own benefit or not. If Nigeria implement new policy, even if e succeed, them dey forget to use am do something better back for the citizens and e no make sense.

Yarning about bitcoin when e enter mainstream, why we no go trust am, we go get full control of our money and we go be our own bank. But even if we switch go bitcoin fully, I no sure say we go escape tax as na important thing and civil right of every citizen to pay.
