AI has already made a stand in this technological era and any service integrating it into their business should know about the pros and cons of them. Their initial plan will be to optimise many things since generally it is being viewed as an assistant to one and not a person with the final say.

If casinos are using AI to answer questions when a player has an issue that needs to be resolved, it is okay they integrate them into finding solution to not too technical issues but when AI is already used to provide answers to technical issues that will put the player at risk of losing their money, I’m not buying the idea at all due to their imperfections.

I didn't even thought about fake ids. Obviously those are going to be easier now. Even confirmation pictures where they are holding a paper with something written could be done pretty quickly.

But depending on the prompts, ai generated pics are often too commercial looking even with distortion, it's still going to require ton of work to analyze all of them as new accounts can be done 10 x faster then anyone could check them. I always thought that main problem of AI would be disinformation spread 1000x faster then it would be possible to debunk it. Many casinos today have integrated AI into their systems, especially those based online. With the current development of AI, if casinos do not adopt it, they may go bankrupt in a short time. With such strategy, definitely, the casino will also have their algo that can detect fake IDs or credentials. They will surely upgrade their security features because like it or not, AI is already penetrating this market. And they can't stop its influence because this is our digital era today.
If they won't have their security features combating such potential threat, they can easily lose their business owed to AI. This is already our reality and so addressing it would be the first step to take care of your business. As I am seeing, the owners should really allocate funds to attend to this threat, otherwise, you will be soon out of business.

The most disturbing part of the use of Artificial intelligence within the ecosystem or casinos and bookies is how they can actually use generative AI in order to fool casino owners and regulators with completely fake and non-existant KYC documents, which would grant (in theory) infinite opportunities for money launderers and criminals to get away with their dirty money. I have not tried using AI for analyzing games but I sure know there could be a way it can help. I have seen few posts from people about how they use AI for their betting especially analyzing matches and have been getting good result, maybe I'm not just moved yet to add AI in my analysis as I believe that I can be more objective in my analysis than using AI which may add so much redundant conditions to the analysis. There are just few things I look at before selecting a match to be added to my bet slip, these conditions may not even be important to the AI. As for me - it is funny enough. Casinos want something like: "Everything, that brings us money is ok, but if it is used to decrease our profit - it is bad. So let only casino to use such tool."
But it is not the first time such cheating from casino. Remember limited players after several wins - they decrease casino profit.
I understand that AI can be used not only for prediction(for example) but both for different kinds of cheating. But anyway i will stand against the casinos in this war.

You willn`t find here the only decision. Not long ago i saw a thread where discussed software for poker. AI just the next step of it. It is just a big and fast database that it easy to use.
The bad moment here is when gambler cheats against gambler for me. When gambler cheats against casino - it is payback. May be you wasn`t banned or limited due to your wins, never KYCed for few months, sending video of your house, cat`s ID and other "serious" documents and don`t fell some satisfaction when gambler get a way to push the casino.

I believe the only application of AI on gambling is on sports betting analysis while I don’t think an AI that has a proper deep learning on sports will be affected by the AI of the casino.

Some people may be using AI in poker or chess. That could be considered cheating because you are letting technology play for you. But using AI for tracking history and analyzing performances maybe for sports betting may not be considered as cheating as AI is only being used as a tool in that context.

Except that there is really a different way that this AI is being used in gambling to cheat the casinos or maybe the casino using it to cheat gambler, I know that there's not AI program that have really break record of causing a significant threat in the history of gambling. If you are gambling and losing, why is there no AI yet that can help win the house or is there a history that such has happened before? Ai for example is of a very good benefit to humanity in parts and to those who embrace its usage, but on the other hand, we can't say that the system is completely and absolutely perfect, there are cons same way there are pros.
Ai is a tool that have helped and still helping to develop and improve the tech space and also industries, there are disadvantages of which I believe that even the casinos are aware of this and may have taken the necessary steps to ensure that the disadvantages that comes with the use of Ai doesn't affect the casino negatively.

Only problem here is that you need to update those algorithms constantly to counter new fake credentials. And that's probably done manually, because i am not sure if it would be safe to give that job to autonomous self updating AI. Naturally flooding attacks of any kind are easier to perform then filtering them.

And it's not a problems if some AI models are penetrating the market. It becomes a problem when it's used to flood the systems that filter genuine from false, or then they are used to penetrate any system security.
