And the fact that paxmao even talks about Epstein, shows that paxmao's ideas are in a totally wrong direction... talking about Epstein like it matters regarding the presidency.

You’ve written more posts than anybody on this forum about Epstein. Clearly it matters. It mattered when you thought only Democrats were implicated.
https://ninjastic.space/search?author=badecker&content=epstein

Now you’re desperate to change the subject when there is emerging evidence making Epstein’s long time close friend, and fellow sexual predator, look even more questionable than he already was.

Respectfully, Gavin Newsom has no chance of being the next US President. It’s highly unlikely he’s even put forward as a candidate to run. He’s too opinionated & far left to be considered. I think the Democrats will put forward somebody like Michelle Obama even though she says she will not run.

Could be, but Michelle is not exactly that moderate and may decide not to run, because how the last campaign has resulted in a massive display of name calling and political indecency.

Re Gavin, well, the opinions can be tamed and there is plenty of time, but anyway, I am just saying it could be a good option. People will probably get tired of Trump soon by paying tomatoes at 3$.

What do people consider to be "far left"?
This administration is so far right that there is no room for the middle.
Trump and his Quislings have set "the system" free.
The influence that money has over our government is on full display, this includes most of them.

Newsome is establishment ---all the way----->  until he grew a pair when Trump sent troops into our state.
Michelle Obama supported Barak as his wife but did not care for being in the political spere (per her memoir and now podcast)

Newsom can't run for governor again; under current rules, but hey our government is breaking laws against people on our soil daily.

https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/constitution  (the constitution and amendments are small and simple for everyday people to understand read it while you can ;-))

I really wish that gerrymandering wasn't on the table but since Texas is trying to redistrict aaaand threating to put out warrants for the democrats who are breaking quorum by leaving the state: redistricting may be on California's November's ballot

Before 2008 I was center right leaning fiscally: left leaning on civil liberties. I've been registered as Independent (No party affiliation) since 2008.

If Trumplian policies and project 2025 are considered center? Then I'm left of left.

That is one of Turmps victories. Switching the spectrum so far to authoritarian (near fascist) right, demolishing all the checks and balances (in cahoots to the band of bastards in the SCOTUS),...

I think you need a practical Democrat that actually implements those policies - such as MedicAid and MediCare that are being eroded to the max by Trump, but do not enter into a stupid debate about all the topics that are seen as more radical by the Christians and the conservatives.

I think Trump has choosen the topics and has lead the communication agenda and that has been his great achievement. Even many Republicans want their party back.

I would take a survey to actually know to what extent the whole people who identify themselves as Republicans actually miss the days of the old republican party, when people like Bush was in charge and the values of the Republican party were to tied to the cult of personality of a single person, those people exist, but I dont believe they are the majority anymore.

Ironically by the way, Medicaid and Medicare are frown upon by the right and evangelists, when taking take of the poor and the sick are quite basic Christian values which are supposed to be uphold by those people, so to me the values of those churches have been hijacked by big corporations and corporate media. When actual Christians talk about mercy and loving all people not matter where they come from, the so called religious people of the United States are ones who keep voting for policies which are pretty much against of what it is written on the Bible.
I dont get how there can be millions in the USA who have such a life style and way of thinking which are so contradicting, but it has certainly worked very well, co corporations can continue to grow, get tax cuts while the presidency tax the middle class and the poor even more to make up for those losses...

To me it looks like the "power of mere power". You can have moral force, the force of reason, the force of the law or... you can ignore all of that an simply base you doings on the fact that people vote for you.

And may still think that it is perfect because that is democracy, but democracy cannot existing without indivual rights and obligations. e.g. you should not be able to vote to kill someone or deprive others from their legit posessions... that is not democracy.

"Show of force" is a good way to put it and many in my country seem willing to subjugate 'others'.
This bullshit about law and order has always been about distracting people from the wall street type of criminal  and the re-writing of history has always been to hide that. The biggest criminal in DC is in the president and too many in my country are grotesquely happy about that.

Newsom for President? Never! Too many people see how he is destroying California. Let him waste some of the money that was supposed to go to CA to try to take the presidency. That's all he can do, because the people of CA won't accept him for another term.
