+5000 odds for Siakam to win ECF MVP...

Did anyone actually see this coming? Most of us were focused on the top teams, and if we had to pick someone from the Pacers, it probably would've been Haliburton.

Just bringing this up to see, maybe someone here hit that insane +5000 bet?

Yeah I only focus on top teams and if I bet on a player it's only on statistics not on the MVP race

I'm not so familiar with American odds, in decimal it's around 51.00, right?
Odds that high are almost impossible to win, maybe the bettors who bet on it only bet a small amount of money, or if they bet big because they also have a lot of capital.
Don't be tempted if you see a bettor who succeeds with this, because it won't happen often, and the highest odds I've ever won were 20.00, that was only once, and after that only odds below 10.00 often fail  .

I have a friend who bet on him to win MVP,  but he only put $1, so his payout was just $50. Small amount, but still, he got the prediction right.

Now imagine if someone had bet $1,000… that’s a $50,000 return! That’s huge. And some of those people probably already rolled their winnings into a bet for the NBA Finals.
I’m also curious, what were the odds for the Pacers to win the Eastern Conference Finals? Were they less than +5000 or even higher?

A lot of people were disappointed, especially those who were betting on Hali to win the award as even Hali himself looked kinda surprised! 

But it is what it is. Sometimes our expectations just don’t happen. Just like when Jaylen Brown won and not Tatum… or way back when Iguodala won Finals MVP instead of Curry. It’s really unpredictable.

Who knows? If the Pacers win the Finals, maybe Nesmith ends up as Finals MVP! Now that would be so wild...

Haliburton was good but not consistent throughout the ECF. They both were close in points and rebounds most of the games but I think game 6 siakim was the difference maker in the game. Up til game 6 it was probably a neck n neck tie.

I dont usually vote for mvp but if I had I would be loving a +5000 win. I would have chosen Haliburton as well or myles turner.

That +5000 odds was actually for the ECF MVP where Siakam has already been declared the winner, and most likely, bettors have already been paid out.

But when it comes to the NBA Finals, that’s a different story. If the Pacers do win it all, then yeah, betting on Siakam could be worth considering. Chances are, his production will stay consistent, and he’ll be a strong candidate for Finals MVP too.

With Haliburton on the Pacers. No one see that coming for Siakam especially that he is not that explosive on their previous matches while Haliburton is always the one delivering the final blow or game tie.

Well, if we're being realistic, nobody would be willing to place such an amount on a player that was being considered an underdog in the game. I see it as some top player who would have considered gamblers putting their money on an underdog. Nah!!! I don't see it happening except or those who like taking extreme risks.

I think it was lower - I don't know the real figure, but what I saw online was around +125 for Pacers, but it's possible for my source to be wrong, though.

At the end of the day, I’m sure Hali is happy too, even if he was a bit surprised. What really matters is the team’s success, reaching the NBA Finals after so many seasons of drought is something worth celebrating.

Nah, it's not just 1 game that Pascal risen for the team. He's a lowkey player and underrated one but he deserves that title. The stats are visible on how he's helped the team dominate the East for this season.

Content creators are making these controversial pictures and they're all edited. Haliburton is definitely one guy that's helping the team but I don't think that he's bitter with that.

Actually, Siakam is a lowkey player that is reliable. He is the same with Kawhi Leonard when it comes to explosiveness when he is hot. Raptors when their championship not only because of Kawhi but with the help of Siakam who is doing the same thing on Pacers.

Haliburton become overconfident on his stats that makes some his game is totally unproductive while Siakam is consistent.

I think those fan that following Siakam since his Raptors days are those who benefited on this win.
