Do you prefer small-stake parlays or big-stake single bets?

I prefer parlays because of the high potential win, but single bets without huge amounts on stake you will probably not hit a good profit so parleys are for us the poor, lol   anyways. Sometimes you have to play on single sometimes parlays it doesn’t have to be sticked to one pattern all the time.

I usually say that playing safe is the key in my opinion, playing same game single and placing it with other games to increase the potential win. That helps me most of the time but not all the time.

I have always preferred small stake parlays from long observation because if it happens to click, the payout will be huge that makes me an overnight millionaire or depending on how much more it could be.
Although, it is quite difficult to be patient for every game to click and the probability of winning big is very slim as compared to single bets with higher stakes, still it can make a gambler with the hopes of getting rich quick achieve it overnight.

One thing about single bets is the budget control it provides a gambler with and such a one can be taking in smaller profits that may not be up to a jackpot win, but considerably convenient for a better long term expected value.

First of all, there's no such thing as a safe bet, even the smallest odd you think has a high chance of playing out can be very risky. This is the reason why i no longer stake high, within a short period of time it exhausts your bankroll and as a result of that you can run out of ammunition to continue betting especially when you are the type that don't really have much money. I prefer to stake low on parlays.

It is tempting to try parlay with small bet since it gives a gambler a chance to get a huge win with just a meager amount.  All it needs is knowledge about the team and obviously the smile of luck.  I am a bit on the safer side guy, so even if parlay offers a huge amount of reward, I would go to a single bets but of course, I won't be betting an all out bet, that would be crazy. I just stay with my comfortable amount of bet even if I know I have the confidence that my choice has a high chance of winning.

I don't have any preference because I can do both but with the most that I do, I do small stake single bets at most times.
I think it's not only me that does it when everyone else does it as well, it's because that there is no need to lean on other bets for the whole bet to win.
That is why single bets small or big stakes are the safe ones for me. I know there are other gamblers who are good in parlays and that's what they prefer.

If I can get my hands on 2 odds, like sure 2 odds every week without playing another game, I will not bet any game for that week again. Sportsbooks gives odds based on what is going to be the outcome for that game, if the probability is going to be high then expect a low odd but if the probability is going to be low then you will get high odd, tell me why I should bet on game that has low possibility of outcome, it doesn't make sense even if it's has less chance.

There are gamblers that are very good though, they have good eye to make predictions with as high as 12 odd from a single game, they do play half game. They do both single bet and higher stakes. I don't know how he is doing it maybe it's a gift but I know that once the guy bet on the multiple odd, he still bet money on the individual games, so that when the combine doesn't work, he will get back his money from individual support

I think both strategies can work, you know? It really depends on the bettor's profile. Like, if I want to take more risks and bet on several events to try for a bigger win, I'll go with a combination bet. But if I want something more relaxed, I prefer to bet on single events.

And depending on how much capital to make combination bets, then research also needs to be done more broadly to find out how the condition of the team or player to be selected is.
It's not easy, but if from many bets it turns out to be more than 50% or more, it can be a big win for many bets at once.

But for single bets it is indeed more about just enjoying the match, if the team chosen is the favorite team and needs to focus on the course of the match,
while the bets placed may be larger depending on how the player performs and who the opponent is.

Don't be too fanatical with 1 club and make high stakes, because that will really make you lose everything if your team loses.

I don't usually prefer the higher odds, whether it is single bet or a parlay, and rarely hit the parlay with high risky odds and most of the time it ended with the loss in the final or before that. So I will prefer betting big on single game rather than the small one on parlay simply comparing the winning chance between the both ones.

Mix it up. I like to make a big parlay for small money that has 50-100x win if I hit and I usually spread in a few single game bets to hopefully cover my whole day. Currently best time of the year for sports IMO with NFL football, NCAA football, NBA, and NCAA basketball all going on.

It has low potential loss while I can control how much outcome I want to hit so that it’s fine when shit happened to my prediction unlike big bets on low odds bet.

Definitely. There is a higher risk involved in terms of the total money that is staked but there is much lower risk in terms of likelihood of losing. People extremely underestimate the low likelihood of successfully selecting several winning bets. There is a survivorship bias here and a power of numbers involved. So many betting tickets are issues all the time that there must be people who win all the time due to the power of numbers.

Well you just need several winning single bets and then you can continue playing with the winnings. In this case you can avoid losing the principal. As long as you always see the winnings as play money then you won't lose anything that you had before you started.

Well, yes parleys are more for the poor. However, sometimes the richer folk tend to go with parlays too because there is more entertainment value with following through on many matches. Nevertheless, your writing in regards to profit is not correct. If you are talking about profit in relative terms, i.e., relative to the stake -- then yes parlays are better. If you are talking about profit in absolute terms, then often single plays will be better given the higher likelihood of winning.
