Hello, what is the "best difficulty" ever reached by any device on Bitcoin?
Best regards,

It will be best if you give your instance or go more detailed when creating a thread.
The difficulty of mining is general, no miner gets less difficulty than another. Using ASIC which is now faster than previous device makes it easier to catch new blocks and earn the rewards before others. To be clear, the difficulty in the network is always the same, since the hash rate increases due to ASIC, the network adjust its difficulty to match the average 10 minutes time of adding or finding new block.

the highest share ever obtained would be something over 127 trillion you are looking to find the lowest winning hash here is an ai answer The block with the lowest hash ever found in Bitcoin is a topic of interest because it represents the block whose hash value (interpreted as a number) is the smallest among all mined blocks. This is not a standard statistic shown on explorers, and finding it requires scanning all block hashes and comparing their numeric values. HASH 000000000000000000002bab4fbe34e9f2bceda93f051eaf92d049f69718ebc5 this one above was low enough to win for block 907182

More context: I solo mine since 1 week, bought my NerdQaxe++, and getting interested about mining (because in UAE the electrecity cost is 0.02$/kwh [for locals], so maybe some opportunities there, testing with solo mining first). So on my device it's written: Best Difficulty 609M. If i understand well, the network has a difficulty level of 127T, but your device can "reach" any diffuclty isn't it? even higher than 127T ? example: 12P ? So i was wondering what is the world record for this "One shot best difficuly" ? But if you tell me devices can't "One shot" above the current level of the network then no problem.

I was surprised to see no one had done it that I can find via searches. I have seen 11x the current difficulty as a winning share maybe 1q or 2q. the bitaxe has won at least one block so it can surpass 127t trillion then quadtrillion next I am pretty sure of that. so for now I would guess 1.5q is the highest share ever made.

Not sure if this is what you're asking about, but the best difficulty I'm aware of is apparently 700T on a BitAxe. Not to get anyone's hopes up or anything...

Hello, what is the "best difficulty" ever reached by any device on Bitcoin?
Best regards,
Ssatooshi
You are going to have to find that in your node's data. I don't think anyone is going to run that. also, reached vs recorded are two different things, recorded will be on the blockchain, reached may have happened outside of the blockchain, like an orphan block, most importantly, none of that matters, exact diff or a fraction higher earns you the same block reward as having a 10000x higher diff share so none of that matters. With all things being equal, the higher your hashrate, the higher the diff shares you get. 609M being your highest means your miner is small (which you did mention anyway), I just checked mine and it's 7T ( a single M30 on solo mode), while 7T is a freaking large share, sadly, it wasn't enough for a block. With that said, your power rate is tempting, 2c/kWh is pretty low; however, I assume this is limited for home use? i.e, you can't host 50 or 100 miners, I'd assume.

It's block 756951: https://mempool.space/block/0000000000000000000000005d6f06154c8685146aa7bc3dc9843876c9cefd0f. It has a difficulty of more than 50 quintillion (50 million trillion). For comparison, right now difficulty is 127 trillion. That means it's around 393,000x more difficult to solve. Imagine that with 900 EH/s, the network has a little over 2% chance of mining a block at that difficulty in one year. With current hashrate, it's expected to find such difficulty only once per 50 years.

That’s impressive! How did you determine the difficulty for this block?
Difficulty is determined by dividing the maximum target by the block hash. >>> max_target = int('00000000ffff0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000', 16) >>> min_hash = int('0000000000000000000000005d6f06154c8685146aa7bc3dc9843876c9cefd0f', 16) >>> print(format(int(max_target/min_hash), ',d')) 50,541,668,626,379,227,136
