I'm trying to organize my BTC financial info into a spreadsheet, and I am rather new to Excel.  I do understand a little bit about fetching information via API (I would like to pull the info off Bitstamp), but not sure how to import this info into Excel without having to manually type it in...

use a vb.net macro

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I've got something that I developed for myself that I'm considering making commercial (although at the moment it covers BTC-e and GOX only).

By all means shoot me a PM and we can see what we can come up with.

The simplest solution is to enter it manually. Just one number in one cell should reflect in all the other calculations in your spreadsheet. Just refer to that cell in this fashion

$A$2

The $ ensures that the reference remains constant as you copy/paste functions.

The link bitpop posted explains exactly how to do it.

There's no built-in easy way using the interface like with other canned data types, you have to code it in VBA.
