Hmmmm... I recalculated twice and the bookmaker's margin here is not small at all - almost 24%! 
After football and tennis, I find it hard to perceive such figures. Although in fact, it is very logical and fits into the pattern where the higher the volatility, the higher the bookmaker's margin.

Yeah. Sportsbet.io margins on several sports markets are ridiculous and laughable frankly speaking. Only some of their sports markets like soccer have low margins baked into them since that sport is their priority.

I tend to find way better odds with way lower juice on almost all sports markets in betting exchanges(Via betting brokers) and Pinnacle. Polymarket provides epic odds too upto a certain liquidity.

The problem with all betting exchanges is low liquidity. It's probably not a problem to place a $5 bet there (and only on popular markets), but larger amounts will be problematic. But as an additional option for diversification/hedging they are of course good, at the moment I prefer convenience, but when I have time I might get to know them in practice.

Nice! If you calculate the bonuses from the wager, the results of the experiment are already becoming pleasant. And anomalous if you think about the mathematical expectation

Depends on what events you choose.
Major ones in football, basketball have enough liquidity for anything, even for smaller events, especially tennis.
For horse racing, especially lower-level grade 4-5 races, exchanges are a no-go; I've seen races starting with less than 100 euros matched on the board.

And anomalous if you think about the mathematical expectation 

I think the results are biased by the fact that bookies would have to get a lot of things wrong continuously. I checked back and there were 6 chains of 5 wins versus 2 of 5 losses. I'm genuinely curious how the statistics will change once the jumping season starts in two months, results there are far more unpredictable than flat racing.

Doing a martingale strategy on bets within just around (only) at 2.5, and should be as consistent as possible, is already tough work to start with.

As you might have already known, martingale doesn't change the outcome, it will still be a function of your good prediction and luck. Martingale is only a means to increase the pains of your loss or the joy of your winning. I can only wish you good luck in this quest.

Your dedication, persistence, prediction accuracy and luck would determine that.

Never!!! Because you are lucky in it doesn't mean others would. The result of betting and martingale will always vary in a random fashion.

How would your bets yield different results than mine? 
There is nothing random in this, anyone following this strategy will get the same results. When a horse wins, it wins for everybody when it loses it does so for everyone. This is not coin tossing when one gets heads and one tails in the same round.

Tiny update with no copy-pasting the whole thing
- No 5 chains lost either this weekend
- very slow days, so little racing that it was boring (Sunday had only 2 tracks)
- also a reminder, this experiment runs on an available chain of 5 races, so if there are only 3 favorites left I don't take a bet at all, that's why on Sunday I only had 1 bet (at least it won).

This is incorrect. As @stompix himself mentioned, the liquidity depends on the particular sport itself. I tend to find liquidities of around thousands and more regularly in cricket, football, tennis etc markets.

On the other hand, some markets such as horse racing etc have extremely low liquidities making them useless to bet on.
