I’ve always wanted to spend some real time in Venice, too. The idea of riding the vaporetto and wandering the little streets is something you can’t really experience anywhere else. I did a lot of exploring around cities with water, like Amsterdam, and there’s something pretty special about the calm and movement that comes with living by a canal. The food looks amazing there, too, especially the seafood.
I haven’t been to Venice yet, but I did visit New York last year, and that was pretty epic in its own way, especially if you love city life.
