You did a great work. I'm a newbie and first noticed the pin posts. I tried to read the pin posts with some mistakes and understood a lot from there. It is there in the pin posts, which means it will be invaluable for the newbies who will come later.

What I want to discuss is that this thread is valid. In fact, I wanted to create it in English before. This thread is valid in English than the translation thread that no one is reading.

The latest version of Bluewallet on iOS was reported to have less than 1 sat/vbyte fee rate. The Android version of the wallet has not been updated yet for me to test this out.

I saw as low as 0.3 sat/vbyte transactions got confirmed. More nodes are accepting as low as 0.1 sat/vbyte.

Depending on your UTXO count during the process of sending your bitcoin, for an average transacting wallet a fee rate of 1 sat/vbyte is very ok and should average around 20 cents , and considering the amount you are spending it's very ok. Paying less than half a dollar for fees on a normal day is fine.

I recently made a transaction at a depth of 0.72vMB which will drop within 15 mins or even less. Save yourself the stress and don't use less than 1 sat/vbyte  because most pools have it as their purge fee.

There’s not too much difference, using the 1sat/vbyte will still work and not that much of sats to use for your transaction unless you have a lot of UTXOs to manage at once. Those with a lot of UTXOs will find it helpful when they want to consolidate as their transaction will have a larger weight units even with small sats transactions , that way they can save more sats but if you want to give it a try then go ahead just that it might not be fast as using the 1 say/vbyte

You mean bitcoin core wallet now is charging below 1 sat/vbyte? After the creation of this thread, I still made a transaction of 1sat/vbyte in Electrum Wallet and if what you are saying come to other wallets it will be nice and if it is not till the year end I will change wallet be that.

If you are using desktop Electrum, you should be able to use a server (electrum.labrie.ca) which is also in the link that OP posted, and enter this in the console to continue:

If you do not have desktop Electrum, Electrum will still release an update that will make it possible.

Transaction fees depend on the wallet you are performing your transaction from, for instance when I was using trustwallet I was paying around or closely 2$ per transaction and but when I asked a fellow and was instructed to change wallet couples that trustwallet is not an open source wallet rather a close source. Meaning it's not that secure to use couples with its higher transactions fee, so I had to move over to the Electrum wallet where a transaction is just 0.23$ which is ~2 sat/vbyte it was far way cheaper compared to when I was using trustwallet app.

I downloaded an update to BlueWallet for Android this morning to version 7.2.1 from the Play Store. The wallet now allows to create and broadcast transactions by paying network fees lower than 1 sat/vByte under the condition that you are connected to a node that will relay such transactions. I don't know if the default servers offered by Blue Wallet will relay those transactions or if users will need to manually switch to one that does. The wallet I have there is watch-only, and connected to my airgapped hardware wallet. Blue doesn't have the signing keys, and I am not going to move that stash just for testing. I might transfer some other BTC to a hot wallet on Blue just to test sending a below 1 sat/vByte transaction to see if it works.

Blue Wallet still hasn't updated its release page to add the new version and information about what was changed. A link to download the .apk file for the new Android version is also missing.

I tried to send the transaction using 0.4 sat/vbyte with the server Bluewallet connected me to, but it returned a min relay fee error.




I tried to connect to electrum.labrie.ca server but it did not work. Maybe it will later work but it did not work:



I connected to LoyceV Electrum server, electrum.loyce.club and it was connected.



I tried to make the transaction again but it returned min relay fee error.


I closed the Bluewallet app, reopened it and tried it again and it worked with LoyceV server.
