Just found this while fiddling with Talksearch.

I was there. I was one of those people. But alas, Bitcoin might as well not have existed to me then.

I first heard about it in 2019. That's a 6 year gap. And so many things have happened during that time period.....

I heard about it several years ago but didn't pay much attention, however, I've been paying attention to it for a few years now and using it and learning from it.
Yeah, I regret not doing it sooner, but I can't turn back time, so I'm trying not to fall behind.

This touches so hard. The difference between Bitcoin existing and finally being close Bitcoin is a regrettable mistake made by heaven knows many people. In my case, skepticism took lead of me causing this shared pain and regret. Alot of people ignored these FRESH GOLD.. But 2019 was somehow early compared to some of us! Your regret is real, but with advantage of being here  before so many people ...

Sometimes we take too much things for granted, sometimes it may not be fear but ignorance and disbelief, we as humans take serious things too common and impatient kills had I known comes at last. Concerning anything crypto back then I'm a fan of that anything that I don't see the result immediately I don't believe I see it as scam. I held a crypto currency for 1 year but at last I said it wasn't going to trade and I let everything go this year it has paid hugely and the people I brought onboard were more serious and had patience and they received and my eyes opened. Same to Bitcoin I would have been enjoying some benefits of Bitcoin but I was too careful and it led to carelessness

Hearing about it early is important, of course — but what really matters is being able to hold onto it. I couldn’t do that, like many others. Still, if I had some forgotten Bitcoin wallet lying around somewhere, things could’ve been very different 😄

I treated it as it was meant to be p2p

not as dca and hodl.

the difference between that is 200k vs 2 or 3 million.

it is nice to have the 200k

but I lament the 2 to 3 million

I will have my 10 years anniversary in Bitcointalk in like 3 weeks but I heard about Bitcoin earlier. I didn't give it the proper attention because I was busy and don't have enough time to focus about it.
I don't regret that much not joining earlier but it would be better if I did it before indeed.

Then there is me, who also heard about bitcoin in 2019, but didn't get involved in any way whatsoever till late 2021. Didn't invest in it till 2022. Sometimes I wish I had known more about it and invested in it from the first time I heard about it, but I console myself with the fact that I'm still an early adopter of bitcoin.

I first heard about Bitcoin shortly after COVID-19. At that time, a friend of mine was involved in it, using the Luno app to buy and resell whenever the price went up. Back then, I thought it was something for people who had enough money; instead of keeping it in the bank for safekeeping, they could use it to buy BTC. The chart on the Luno app made me think it was a Ponzi scheme. Of course, I had heard about Bitcoin earlier, but what could one do when not sure about its future? I eventually got into it in 2023, but I wasn’t aware of this forum until last year.
There is nothing to regret about homie, because that time i was in year 3  and was very broke i cannot afford to buy even small amount even it was not cost as today lets just focus on its future .
