Would there be any or much interest in "flash airdrops"?
The first kind I am thinking of is along the lines of a "
Scorn Nobility Airdrop" wherein one
AMBerium would be dropped into the Knights of Scorn lounge, two into the Baronets of Scorn lounge, three into the Barons of Scorn lounge and so on up through the ranks of Scorn Nobility, so that a player who has one character of each noble rank could snap up up to the "triangle number" of their highest rank, in AMBerium.
I call them "flash airdrops" because of course Crossfire-RPG maps "refresh", so it would only be a matter of time before the map containing the nobles' lounges "refreshes" back to its default contents thus the "flash airdrop" would be over.
In order to avoid favouring players who set up characters "camping" next to known "flash airdrop" maps, it will probably be necessary to come up with new different "flash airdrops" constantly of course, but first I thought it might be worth floating the idea here ahead of time to get an idea whether folks might find such "airdrops" tempting enough for them to "actually work" in the sense of actually attracting new players into the game.
Getting a brand-new character up to the rank of Knight of Scorn before such an airdrop ends might be a challenge for some, and even just advancing a character to the next noble rank, let alone all the way from brand new starting-character to any rank above knight, within the span of a single such airdrop likely possible only to extremely skillful and dextrous (or script-assisted) players, but to float the idea initially ahead of time like this post is doing provides plenty of time for people to develop possibly several characters up to a whole range of ranks by the time we first actually do such a "drop"...
This would be on the PTE (Play to Earn) Crossfire-RPG server, tell your Crossfire-RPG client to connect to Server1.Knotwork.net even if the "metaserver" does not show that server on its list of online servers...
In case you didn't click on the above CCAMB link and on through it to the Stellar Explorer page about CCAMB, note that as I write one CCAMB has lately usually been selling for 2 Stellar Lumens (XLM).
