OP:
These types of threads are always welcome. We need to keep the discussion about Bitcoin going, even when it comes to the obvious. There are always doubts or half-truths, and some of that depends on your context.

Bitcoin has anonymity as its initial premise, but that doesn't mean you can be anonymous within the legal framework of your country. In a way, it's anonymous for most people who make a transaction (Txid) and for anyone who reviews it at first glance.
Then, depending on the skills of each user involved, anonymity offers security.

Bitcoin's strength in this regard is clearly seen when you compare it to the Fiat system. This is because its architecture is not truly infallible in determining information about who makes a transaction.

The rest of what you mention, well... the discussion channels, and the information of the parties involved, determines what each person believes.

It is true that many of false views on Bitcoin begin with single person that dislikes it. Such concepts are immediately echoed through Internet and mass media so that new individuals could hardly understand what is true and what is not.
You are right in that individual can also work to prevent this. Your teaching of facts in non confrontational manner will enable others to make wise decisions. By countering these fictitious tales, we can all ensure that we are preventing spread of such tales which put off people following Bitcoin.

We have long passed that stage where we talk about the government and critics promoting misconceptions about Bitcoin, we are now in the era where governments and critics are now using Bitcoin to gain political favour.

No doubt about this fact as we saw it during the previous campaign and election in the US, where one of the major contenders used bitcoin as his agenda to gain the favour of the crypto community. Currently, nations are now justling for who is the largest or biggest bitcoin holders with world powers showcasing what they have in their reserve.

However, some country already tasted  of the benefit of being a bitcoin holder and the likes of El Salvador opened their eyes to the fact that they could use bitcoin as a national reserve after their breakthrough after few years of holding bitcoin and today, the rest is history.

I think that we have gone pass the era were we should be worried about people who spread misinformation about Bitcoin because it's obviously clear that Bitcoin has come to stay and that anyone who is still not clear about Bitcoin and is bent on spreading false rumors about Bitcoin is outdated because the current level that Bitcoin has reached even the blind can see the reality on ground that is why we are seeing more adaption over the globe

"Bitcoin is Expensive To Buy"
People think by buying Bitcoin means Buying a whole Bitcoin and they don't buy because they don't have money for buying a whole Bitcoin. The truth is you can buy fractions of Bitcoin called satoshis (divisible into 100 million) you can buy as little as a $1.
If you buy on an exchange, you still have to buy the minimum purchase limit to buy Bitcoin. Not to mention you will also incur costs. Bitcoin can indeed be bought in small fractions. But actually, that knowledge is very easy to acquire. I believe beginners will not have difficulty obtaining that knowledge if they want to look for it first.
Everyone can own Bitcoin, but not everyone will think it is important to have or buy Bitcoin.
