I almost thought Sportsbet sponsored another NFL contest aside from the pick 'em that was announced several weeks ago. 

Already signed up and ready to rock n roll in the NFL Predictor Pool on sleeper.
But is it really a survivor pool?

I wish it were, but the pick'em contest we're playing on Sleeper is nothing like survivor pools. If anything, it's like a handicap contest since we only get to pick the asian handicaps from each match.

Slightly off-topic,

We have an open spot in our Fantasy Football Draft League. It's people from the forum (you probably already know them), and this will be our sixth season playing together.

You must have a Yahoo account, be present at the draft (likely Wednesday), and be somewhat active throughout the season, as in setting a lineup each week etc.

You don't have to pay anything, the entry fee is covered, so it's basically free with the chance of winning something at the end of the season while having fun.

I’m not sure if I'm doing it right, but I think I've already submitted my prediction for Week 1.

Since I've already submitted my week 1 prediction, I’d like to see other players picks just like on Superbru where you can view other players pick after submitting your picks.
Is that possible on the Sleeper app too?

Yup, I joined last week and made a mistake in picking the Eagles to cover in the match earlier today.

Unfortunately, it's not possible because the mechanics on the Sleeper app aren't similar to Superbru, where you can submit or lock your picks ahead of time.

The only way to see what the others have picked is to wait it out until the match is live.

True statement from ralle14 on how the sleeper app works compared to the SuperBru one, which I find better IMHO.

Now about the first match last night, it was suspended with 4:44 minutes left in the 3rd quarter due to thunder above the stadium.
The players had to warm up while only being on the field for just over 10 minutes of playing after they resumed.
So many of the players came out sort of cold and did not have the same momentum they came out with after the second half started.
No more scoring after the Eagles field goal to make it 24-20 which ralle14 was correct did not cover the -7.5 point handicap that was needed in the Sleeper app for them to be the correct selection in the Pick'em pool.

Atleast the first market in the Sportsbet.io NFL Special hit with Barkley scoring a TD and the Eagles winning despite the game dying off after the restart.

NFL 2025 season's match 1 was a bit of a have it all

Barely after start a player was ejected for spitting at the QB

insane high scoring first half - 41 points
Over bettors must be counting their money at half time, but wait - ONLY 3 points in the second half 

Also an interruption due to lightning around the area, maybe for about half an hour
