What's the best way for a Newbie to join conversation?

The first thing a newbie should do in my opinion is to read the rules before posting and not get into arguments with anyone. Because if you are really a newbie, your behavior will be like a newbie, but if you always try to prove your own statement to be true or accurate, you will seem like a multi-user. This forum is a place for gaining knowledge and exchanging knowledge and a place for solving various problems. So since knowledge makes us humble, if you do not understand something like a real newbie, politely ask questions about it, the respected senior members here will definitely answer that question and understand who is a real newbie and who is a multi-user.

Now, I ask to know which way is the best to join conversation here. Is it ideal for one to hide information here to avoid being tagged or assume as not being a newbie? Pardon my English please but I believe the message is clear a bit.

I haven’t come across such tags in the sense of how you put it although, I’ve seen tags referring to an account to have been an alt. In most of these cases, their is usually an underlying truth and I think those within the DT system knows better, they always have their ways to getting down to the facts.

Not all newbies are exactly newbies as, you might be a newbie to the forum but, not in cryptocurrency and you can be a newbie to the forum and cryptocurrency as well. People could actually spot out the difference but, it doesn’t necessarily warrants a tag. I give you an example:
You can’t open an account, just today and then you’ve started dissecting the intricacies in the DT system or talking about past contests or history of the forum as though you were there when it all did unfolded. Some facts are well known to people from the era and even when you read it, there is always a difference.

Engaging in forum discussions doesn’t necessarily have to go in a pattern, you engage when you have an opinion that adds value to what is already there or even, ask questions that could lead to more detailed discussions.

I have been around this forum for a while now and I noticed the controversies surrounding newbies and their posts. I know it's unnecessary making a posts announcing that you joined the forum. I noticed some posts getting moved/deleted for not adding any value to the forum or for being a repetition of previous threads. Mind you, majority of these deleted threads are from newbies.

On the other hand, I see some newbies account with a tag saying "this user is not a newbie but someone who is familiar with the forum is behind the account". Most of the time, this tags evolved as a result of what they posted on the forum and people feel they don't suppose to know all these simply because they are newbies.

Now, I ask to know which way is the best to join conversation here. Is it ideal for one to hide information here to avoid being tagged or assume as not being a newbie? Pardon my English please but I believe the message is clear a bit.

Forum is simple and easy to navigate. What usually you can do is to read up the discussions and try to contribute good discussions and don't talk other nonsense things in the thread so that no people will criticize you.

Much better if you read up the rules and also try to gain more knowledge about crypto or with many things so that you can join easily and share some valuable opinions towards what has been discussed by people.

For sure people are not so harsh with newbies if they commit mistakes since many people understand that their knowledge is limited.

Most general suggestion that new member can receive is to be modest and honest, so I also will say, at beginning you must always read rules first to show respect and when you cannot understand something you must ask nicely not to quarrel because fighting makes you appear like troublemaker not true beginner. Because aim is to learn and to learn is to admit what you do not know politeness and humility and desire to learn are quickest means of getting your questions answered and gaining respect of more experienced members.

The point is that whether someone hides the information about being new to the forum or not, those who have been on the forum for a long time will know because the courage or confidence in their conversation will be different from someone who is new to the forum. Whether someone has knowledge about cryptocurrency or not, it's usually easy to tell.I am sure that nobody will tag anyone without a reason or without going against the rules of the forum. In fact, the reason why many newbies are often tagged is because of spamming. You can just imagine,some newbies will introduce themselves by saying they are new and have zero knowledge about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general, and that they are here to learn. But just a few days or a month later, they come back saying they invested in Bitcoin a few years ago, have made some profits, and start fabricating lies in other ways.I have seen this kind of behavior many times. So, if these kinds of people get tagged, they are the cause of it.What is there about this forum? Just be straightforward and only engage in conversations you have knowledge about, and you won’t have problems with anybody.

It's very normal for people to think that a users isn't a newbie. And that's backed by so many reasons. Sometimes you see a newbie account who we assume to be real, hoping from one merit thread to another. A honest newbie barely knows what the merit is. You see them being so curious to learn. People creates alt account just to cheat in signature campaign and sometimes they deprive other users of slots.

No one will tag you without any valid reasons. The community is not biased with their judgement. If you are accused wrongly m, it's simply for you to prove them wrong and show them enough reason to believe you aren't some alts.

This do happened to all most the newbies that Newly joined the forum without going through the rules of the forum which is the first guidelines a newbies should have go through severally in order not to fall victim in going against any of the rules with the forum,  i know that some time a mistake might occur without knowing that you are fault or you just make posts that is not aline with the forum and such posts will delete with the forum moderators, as newbies there are always the possibility of doing mistake but as a newbies they should be careful with the forum rules and have it on their hands always and try to make a post that is related to Bitcoin or any thread that is created by any members.

Sincerely, the forum is a place of learning and growth, and to the best of my knowledge, every member here are in one way or the other giving out the little knowledge they can share as we as also learn what they need to learn. The forum is governed by rules, and it is only when such rules are broken that you can be tagged or whatever punishment metted out due to your offence. So someone without any offence wouldn't face any charges.

We are not any way restricted to share knowledge. That you are a Newbie in the forum doesn't necessarily mean that you are a newbie in crypto related matters or Bitcoin knowledge as well. So, you might just be new in the forum but has previous knowledge about Bitcoin or crypto currency either from readings or crypto groups and/or study. So I'm such a situation, you can share knowledge or answer questions which adds value to the forum, it's really nothing bad.

I am not encouraging that newbies should bump into discussions and talk meaninglessly but we don't also have to make them become scared of criticism in the sense that most times criticism is what makes majority of the newbies to grow a thicker skin, they pick up and challenge themselves in to doing better and grow, newbies should always look at the positive side of criticism and not just the negative side, I got several of such experiences of being criticized while growing up as a newbie, yes my crypto journey started here and today I have gained and still gaining lots of knowledge here, I grow a thicker skin and am doing better.

Joining a conversation for newbies isn’t a problem, because everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussion  to make the forum becomes an effective ground for learning both for newbies and even legendaries. However the problem is, newbies do not exert more efforts in finding interesting topics to post which could attract the attention of all members, which could develop learning a new insight so as to maintain an effective learning acquisition in the forum.

Newbies lack the real understanding of the forum. They just simply post and even leave their threads unfollow up, without minding if their created threads have leave relevant information to the forum or not.

If you dont understand what they are talking about you can freely use the internet we dont need to limit our knowledge of course and even with the use of chatgpt it can summary the topic again the topic only so you can get an idea and concept what they are discussing about so you can follow the conversation now still if you have a question just freely reply this is the essence of the forum to share and gather information.
