What do you think about this accounts behaviors

I am an active member of the naija newbies hangout threads, and i have noticed a high inflows of suspicious accounts activities that deserve to be tagged as alts at least a natural tag, if we must protect the interest of the local board as to discorage spammers and farmers at least in our own little ways that we can help clean up the forum and to allow only healthy discussions that have quality that help everyone around the forum.

We start wirh this two accounts i noticed and one other visitors from the global boards too.
Case No:1

It seems that having multiple alternative accounts can make people forget where they're from and what their profession is. It's even possible to speculate about a split personality.

That is how dump accounts farmers can be sometimes.

I was surprised when i got the notification with lovesmayfamilis in Nigeria localboard so i become interested to check what the reply is and here we are with another case of alts on the local board, same user name, different state's and profession this shows how dishonest this account could be and the potential risk to the forum.

Even though multiple accounts is not against forum rules but the peculiarity of this case definitely make it necessary to tag them due to potential risks.

Edit, seems that the account is same but he is posting the introduction comments repeatedly.

He displays unstable character, in terms of profession and state of origin.

This case of someone having states pf origine and also making two introductory post's on the same thread in different dates.

I don't know how you guys see it but is it really necessary to include the country space in the in the introduction? knowing that this is Nigerian section and only Nigerians will introduce themselves here. It feels good to be here though

Account registered in August 2024 first posts October 2025, introductory posts today and straight way to advice the board on what to include on the introductory posts, this a behavior ps someone who already knows the forums.

How can a software engineer that come from Enugu in August suddenly become a biologist, computer literate that is having digital skills comes from Abia state.

The person that started the thread is a well known person among us but why is he making people to lie. We are anonymous on this forum, our jobs and states should also be anonymous. This is the only one that you see, there will be many more lies there from many newbies there.

The second person make a suggestion, I do not really understood the suggestion but do not be harsh on newbies. Not everyone may want to be very active on this board. You do not need to be harsh to newbies for suggesting something but you can correct them.

It's obvious even with the lies that the two accounts belongs to one person. It's clear to everyone even with the names on the account it shows that the account belongs to one person. Disciplinary measures should be taken against the first but I don't see what the second account did wrong because the person is only making a suggestion. It's true that the question looks suspicious as the owner of the account may be familiar with the forum benefit of doubt should be given because there is no other evidence to show that the account may be related to another account.

This is what I see from the two cases you set as examples.

1. The first user is a liar and this shows that he has the intention of having a deceptive mind and such could lead to neutral tag with such as evidence against him, however, we may also consider them being newbies not to have the full knowledge and information about the forum as expected of them, maybe a proper orientation, if they can be sent some guides or adviced right from where they made such post, because I've seen a number of accounts that have been tagged for lie.

2. The second case isn't worse, but indicating a similar calamity coming as the same way the first one did, some of them truly never know or understand the way the forum operates until when they are being told, but if persist, they may still be tagged, but for now, they haven't done anything much than the usual way of a newbie behavior, we must also be careful not to scare many others away, who might take correction and learn from their mistakes.

The first user thought his introduction was not welcomed the first place or what, why introducing himself by lieing again, such user cannot be trusted because he word doesn't match his actions. There should be no reason for this behavior.

That should not be a good reason for him to be tagged. Who knows if other people are also lying. Who I suppose to blame the most is the person that posted the topic and saying people should mention the state that they come from, but I look at the topic, I did not see him included state.

Why are newbies mentioning their states when it is not asked? I think they should be corrected. Just username and skills are what that are asked for.

Maybe the guy is confused or probably someone that does not understand that the forum keeps record of every activities of an individual even when they delete their posts. In the reputation board where I saw the post earlier, a lot of people concluded it was an alt account but there was no evidence to connect it to any other account. He should just be more serious with the forum because here is not a playing ground but a place where great and life-changing things are being discussed.

They're just copy pasting introduction quotes from their colleagues and OP I don't see any cause for an alarm in those posts and nothing warrants any tags it's just newbie being a newbie that's all.

No tag for any of them and i just want ro call their attention to what seems to be an impending problem that need to be fixed, newbies need to be themselves, no need to copy others, just being a quality and sincere newbies will definitely attract the right attention here in the forum.

It's hard to think you're wrong when almost everyone on the thread are doing the same thing even old members does the same thing on signature threads and sometimes miss out some OP instructions.

There are too many reviewing details on that thread i think CB needs to remove States and occupation.
