After a brief break due to the World Cup qualifiers, and a qute disappointing weekend with the Greek team, let's get back to our weekly matches. There are a few interesting choices on the weekend, such as Panetolikos vs. OFI, or Atromitos vs. Levadiakos, but also a derby, AEK vs. PAOK. Apart from those, I'd also like to see how Aris vs. Panathinaikos is going to progress, who knows, Panathinaikos haven't been their top performance this league, I wouldn't be surprised if they ultimately lose against Aris.

A little bit disappointed with OFI today, I actually expected OFI could end up winning after scoring the first goal, but it turned out Panetolikos went on a goal spree. I did end up winning my over 3 goals bet, but I'd prefer it if OFI had won. If honest, I'm quite disappointed with OFI's performance this league so far. I also wasn't expecting such a comeback from Levadiakos, scoring two goals and ending the game in a tie against Atromitos.

Levadeiakos is about to steal a spot in the playoffs for themselves if things keep as is. Panathinaikos is quite far from the top even with one less match played.

Olympiakos is also not developing a huge lead which means they might lose the first spot soon. Finally some competition.
Meanwhile some historical trams are on the play out spots unless they improve dramatically. I hope it's not going to be another one of these years for OFI.

Bit annoying to have to look at the matches played to make sense of rankings at this point but you gotta do what you gotta do. The Greek cup interferes with some match slots.

It's about time the Greek Super League has some suspense. Olympiakos is first with 16 points, along with AEK, followed by PAOK with 14 points. Levadiakos is sitting at fourth place with 11 points, so actually it's not a major difference, there's finally some competition. As for OFI, it's going from bad to worse, I was a little more confident after winning against Aris, but apart from that match, we're on a full losing streak. I'm having doubts if we'll recover to at least, not be third position from last.

PAOK obtains the first position in the Greek Super League, after winning against AEK with two goals. An amazing match, with great performance from both teams, congratulations to PAOK! Panathinaikos also ended in a tie against Aris, which on the one hand isn't surprising, but on the other hand, judging by Panathinaikos' recent performance, I'd expect Aris to win. Overall, this was an interesting weekend and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Interesting things happening in the domestic league. Volos is doing suspiciously good so far, not sure if they can keep it up.

On the international arena, Olympiakos lost 6 - 1 to Barchelona. I'm amazed they even managed to score against such a legendary team.
So many people were watching this match because of how historical it was to Greek football. It's not often that you get to see a Greek team play a team that has gotten the champion's league.

Tomorrow we'll see PAOK playing Lille and Panathinaikos vs. Freyenoord for the Europa league. Freyenoord is currently first in their Dutch league so I think Panathinaikos will have a hard time based on their form at the moment. I'm hoping for a surprise from PAOK. Maybe they'll be in good spirits from topping the domestic league now. There's also AEK in the conference league and the cypriot teams.

I think for a bet I'd focus on Lille vs PAOK, the odds for both teams to score seem ok and based on the good form of PAOK it's worth taking a shot to such bet.
Obviously the French League is on a higher level even if PAOK is currently atop the Greek league so betting on PAOK to win is too risky.

Three matches today, not anything extremely interesting so far. Kifissia vs. Panetolikos ended in a tie, and OFI vs. Atromitos is live, with a score of 1-1, along with Panserraikos vs. AEL, which is ending in a few minutes, with a score of 0-2. I've only placed a bet on OFI vs. Atromitos, but so far I'm not too confident I'm going to win, and the same applies for OFI. Although we did score the first goal within the 15' minutes of the game, Atromitos seems to have a stronger offense. We still have over 30 minutes left and I'm rooting for OFI, hopefully, we'll manage to score one more goal.

This however changed quickly, and Atromitos ended up scoring three goals. I ultimately won my bet because I'm no longer placing a "specific" bet on who's going to win, due to OFI's recent performance. Olympiakos also won against AEK with two goals, a great performance from both teams. PAOK is still on the first place though, followed by Olympiakos and AEK.

Olympiacos secured a decisive victory over AEK, winning 2-0. This was a disappointing result for AEK, as they weren't expecting it. This puts Olympiacos and AEK level on points in the league, but Olympiacos has a three-point lead. This is a significant advantage.

They did, and if I'm honest, it was a good match from both teams, but Olympiakos offense was much better than AEK's. Although in general, Olympiakos is supposedly the top team, so it's not exactly unexpected. However, AEK's offense was quite poor, from the six shots they performed, only one was on target, while at the same time, Olympiakos had nine shots, of which six were on target. This basic "statistic" is enough to show that AEK barely managed to break Olympiakos defences and attempt to score.

Posting the upcoming matches, surprisingly, we don't have a derby this time, unless you count Olympiakos vs. Aris, but I personally wouldn't. OFI is playing against Asteras Tripolis, who's currently at the last place of the the Super League. I swear, if we end up losing one more match, I'll go ballistic. From rivalring against Olympiakos the last season, to being almost last this year is a tremendous difference.

I'm also considering to participate in Olympiakos vs. Aris, Atromitos vs. Kifissia and maybe Levadiakos vs. AEL.
