Yeah, as for the alts, I think I would say that they are like the digital version of silver. Alts are known to be more stable than in BTC. This could be due to the old alts like ETH but newer alts and tokens are the ones that are high in volatility. If you are talking about a literal stock when investing, then it is only fine for our money to sit there, because stocks and crypto are not the same and then stocks are more stable. i feel  like altcoins are kinda like a double edge sword!! they bring new ideas and can sure give bigger profits than bitcoin itself if you choose the right one at the right time!! but they are also very risky because many lose value fast after the hype is gone. that is why diversification is kinda helpful but you must be careful at the same time because most altcoins work better for short or even mid term trading but bitcoin is usually safer for long term holding.

And the secret is in the quantity and not everyone can buy Bitcoin in bulk so one of the options that can be easily explored is altcoins and there altcoins that are affordable and give better profit than even bitcoin just that choosing the right one is always the problem. There are a lot of coins that lose value and that is becoming they can no longer keep up with the market and sometimes the interest of the team does not allow the project stay long. So if you making the right selection you just have to choose the right coin, so that you don't lose all your money. And there a lot of altcoins that anyone can buy and hold. There are lot of them out there, true that most of them don't last for a long time so of you are buying for a long time you should know the onces you want to buy, another thing people that fall victim are does that want to make quick money without even understanding anything about the market because what comes first is you DYOR and that way when it comes to selection.

When we talk about alt coins I feel like it only has to do with a few coins and not the whole millions of cryptocurrencies spread across with faint utility parading as problem solving currencies, I feel like it’s just the top coins in the list that should be considered because a good number of this altcoins are pump and dumb shits.

Low liquidity token are those tokens that's very volatile and should be avoided if the foundation isn't strong. I can say that only few of those new gen alts are getting long-term, so I only invest on blue chips that could make my port secured and can sustain bearish markets. The benefits of having altcoins through a massive profit by buying it early or airdrop, you shouldn't get hyped by it, you should take the profit and out.

Those very obscure tiny small projects that gain "a lot" do so because they do not have any proper liquidity or any volume, which means that we end up with very low amounts for them that can change the whole thing.

This is why when there is a bull run, they can go up a lot, because even a million dollars invested in them could make them go up a lot. But it also creates this high risk as well, since the same million dollar invested dude, could deinvest the same thing and we end up with nothing at all. That is why it's clear that if you do want returns that are higher than bitcoin, you are also investing into something that has a lot more risk than bitcoin as well. This is the way we should be investing all together on the long run.

There are only few altcoins that are old ones and are worth investing like ethereum, Litecoin, BNB etc. Apart from those it's very risky to invest in altcoins and hold it for more than four years because most of those altcoins die within a period of four year cycle (bitcoin cycle) and never recover to all time high prices again.

The money usually flows in new altcoins that are easy to pump or dump by the whales and investors because the retails aren't stuck at higher prices and therefore they can easily manipulate the prices. With a little capital they can pump those new altcoins, the people who enter and exit at the right time, makes money from those short term investments.

Majority of those that jump on those altcoins are those that believe that altcoins is a short way to get rich quick since Many of them are of thoughts that Bitcoin is already too expensive to get quick profits from it, so altcoins become the next best choice for them for investment, and most of the time, they end up with heavy losses since majority of those coins are baseless and without a clear purpose or road map to follow in the cryptocurrency market.
