There's a difference between this scenario and getting junk mail sent to your house. I never said or assumed I'm untraceable, but obscurity provides you with relative safety on here. It's unlikely people have access to those databases here and if they did they have no way of connecting your handle to a real world address unless you make it easier for them.

There's some reason that the people who read bitcointalk.org are a bigger threat than the people who have access to the databases that are used to send me junk mail?

There's some reason that the people who read bitcointalk.org are a bigger threat than the entire population of the earth (if any of those junk mail databases are ever leaked to the public)?
