Both this forum and MtGox were down for about half an hour and have just come back online.  Was Mark doing scheduled maintenance on the servers or something?

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I am curious too.
If it was planned, I guess users should be informed in advance.

If it wasn't planned, does hosting this forum on their servers make Mt Gox vulnerable in any way if this forum is successfully targeted? 

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.
