http://www.bitplastic.com/ ref removed

Now you can load the debit card with Bitcoin, convert to cash, and spend the same as using any debit card with any merchant.

Can be used anywhere in the world.

BitPlastic is something like a SCAM! The card they send is not like the Mastercard seen at their site and @ Facebook, but is instead a regular debit VISA Electron card from the Polish Bank Zachodni WBK, that anyone can buy at eBay at a very lower price.

Sure looks like an scam so far.

I ordered me one of those Visa card and transfered 1BTC for testing.

Sent the 1BTC 16.march, Still havent recieved anything in the account.
Requested help on their support system. Got replied:

I talked to techs. They are making some security improvements to\r\nprevent hacking, and apparently the software is having trouble picking\r\nup incoming deposits. I confirmed that your deposit hit our wallet just fine. There is no chance the funds will be lost, but it might take up to 24 more hrs for\r\nyour account to be updated. I could update your account manually, but\r\nthen you would get a double-credit when the software finds the\r\ndeposit. Again, nothing to worry about, and I do apologize for the problem. We\r\nare always trying to improve security and in this case it has caused a\r\nsmall temporary bug

This was answered to me 18.March.

Still not gotten the funds in the account (6days later), also tried to contact em again twice, without any response.

So far it really looks like SCAM SCAM SCAM (will edit this if things get fixed).

Why would you transfer a whole BTC to something that isn't necessarily reliable? It's just asking to be scammed :/.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

I had good faith in em, even receieved the card and heared from other sources that it was an good way to get some money out (apparantly unreliable sources.)
Then again 1BTC isnt that much either at current rates  Undecided

Latest development:

Got an response on my two mails wondering wtf was happening.

All of a sudden they now do not see any transfers to my account...
That is just beyond redicilouse, I got both sending adress and TX id to document my transfer to them.

Sent em an not so happy mail back, posting previouse statement from them, deposit address and TX id on the transfer. Lets see what they say.

Very sorry to read of the troubles experienced here.  Hope things get sorted out for the better.  I was showing some support for something like this before after giving it more thought I'm not so sure this is something people should try until it been proven to be safe and actually secure as it is claimed to me.

Who's the owner? If it's OP, svennand you should make a scam report against him or website atleast to warn users.

Wait are you honestly telling me you WANT people to get scammed? If it wasn't for "useless posts" such as the one i made above warning users, Many clueless members could be scammed. I expected better from an Sr. member of the community, Guess you don't really care about others being scammed...do you?

If i didn't know any better i would say you're the owner of that site.

I interpered you post as you called me an idiot for falling for it.
my response where made on that basis:)

Calling people idiots for speaking up when they encounter scam surely
leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

We want people to come forward and shed light on those thing, to prevent others
from falling in the same trap. Calling them idiot is counter productive:)

And no, im not bitplastic. that wouldnt make sence now would it?Smiley

It is not shame to be scammed. I was close to get this crap card and thanks to this post i am not robbed again. Luckily, bitcoin have such a great community with lot of expirienced members who share their expirience with newbies so we are somewhat protected.
