Atlas ATS announces the launch of its flagship digital currency exchange: Atlas ATS Hong Kong. The launch marks the opening of the first of several Asia based exchanges; additional markets being prepared for launch during 2014 include Singapore, South Korea and Indonesia.
Within the Atlas digital currency exchange ecosystem deployments are supported by local operators with local compliance and banking relationships, but can benefit from interconnected order books to create deep liquidity and price discovery across geographies.
Immediately following the Hong Kong launch Atlas plans to add trading in bitcoin derivatives and major alternative crypto-currencies such as Litecoin, Namecoin, and Peercoin. Atlas is also working to expedite the addition of new payment and banking services to create more options for funding trading accounts.
