Friend: "I asked my uncle about Fractional banking and he said he never heard about it so you are clearly wrong"

Almost everyone I know is way to lazy to actually do any research themselves and then decide they are an expert on the subject they know nothing about..

Another golden one: "America could sell all the gold they own to cover their debt"
Me: "Do you know how much gold america has and it's worth"
Tool: "Fort Knox isn't empty"
Me: "............ Take all of the gold america says it has and multiply it against the price of gold....................................................."
Tool: "I don't need to obviously they can pay off their debt with their gold stop watching youtube"

I just.. people actually think they are right..

Having a convo with my IRL friends about if America actually has their gold is 100% impossible.  "OH there has to be another reason Germany hasn't gotten their gold"

people that don't know what they are talking about seem to always be the loudest people in the room.  It drives me crazy and I want to ridicule them but I stop myself and realize it is my job to educate them if I feel I know more on the topic then them.

I dont want to be rude, but maybe you need new friends. Maybe they are your friends for different reasons and you need additional friends.
Some people just dont care, so you have to ask yourself if you can life with them beeing your friends.

I dont want to be rude, but maybe you need new friends. Maybe they are your friends for different reasons and you need additional friends.
Some people just dont care, so you have to ask yourself if you can life with them beeing your friends.

I come on the webz to discuss things like this, most people go into full cognitive dissonance mode when presented with the idea their beliefs are completely wrong.  It's very difficult to find people that are not slaves to their "left" brain so I come here .
