Lately I have been having a lot of luck with this, although as always it can screw you up and make you lose it all. But you have to remember that patience is the best part of being a dice-gambler, to me at least.
What I usually do is start off with some prerolls, see what rolls are appearing mostly (50 pre-rolls, count how many were under and how many were over 50). Then, using the same client hash I move over some funds (0.01-0.1). I wait til I get a 3-4 red streak on the rolls that didn't appear as often as the other, for instance if >50 have appeared most of the time during those 50 rolls, I aim for rolling 3-4 reds <50, then I start a martingale that will let me roll 5-6 times without busting.
Then depending on how it's going, if I notice a pattern that >50 have started to appear mostly I decided to switch it up (thinking that the variance has changed to >50 now) I preroll 3-4 bets <50 and start martingaling >50 with 4-6 rolls before I bust. Obviously this does take a lot of time, and when I do bust, I tend to deposit 5x more than my initial deposit (to win it back). A lot of times this works okay, lately I have been rolling with 50% just to not allowed 49.5-50.5 house edge to knock me down.
A lot of times, if I notice that variance is acting weird, I tend to stop at 6-7 reds in a row, even though I am now at loss, this gives me a chance to win it back in time instead of losing it all on a crazy 10+ red streak. (believe me, those happen more often than you'd imagine)
Usually if I have doubled my initial deposit, I withdraw it and play with my winnings (don't forget that when you cashout your client seed resets (on PrimeDice at least)) so then I do some more prerolls to see how variance is rolling but usually I play a little more risky with the winnings since "I won't lose anything even though I bust now" and the reward is much higher when playing more risky.
This got me last time I actively played from 2.5 to 10.5 btc (I cashed out 10.3 since I needed to pay off student loans and other bills)
