Hello;

Who among us has not been the victim of a scam, or at least does not know someone who was?

The idea to use a escrow service, with a lawyer, is still a good idea. This is a job I'm doing for the past 25 years. Building a reputation, being dedicated and fair, I offer this escrow service for bitcoins's transaction of 5 BTC or more.  Write me in PM or see my website. I will be glad to introduce myself to you.

Good Idea but you need some your personal reputation and feedback from members for this escrow service  Smiley

Yup... all I see is newbie claiming to be escrow. Im sure others will see even less. Plus law requires jurisdiction... you don't have any of that in crypto land.

Well, I still believe that a proven track records of 25 years in REAL LIFE may be something to think about...in same manner,  being a troll member on this site, even for the past 3 or 4 years, is not a absolute proof of reputation.

Ya.... well, good luck with that. Over here at the community, reputation is quite a valuable thing. You don't just get that with a new website. Being a lawyer in Canada might be good for interpersonal transactions, and escrow services in and around your area. Online (im sure) there are more reputable and long standing services with a long track record of not scamming people. I don't know any because I never needed any. But basically what I'm saying is one does not have any incentive to choose you over another with a proven track record.

Since escrow services are part of attorney's services, it could be included under our professionnal insurance. This would be a nice incentive in case of a large BTC transaction.

That's what I mean... they were in florida and they were bound by Florida Jurisdiction. A lawyer in Canada's "lawyer" status amounts to squat for a transaction done between a guy in Russia and the other in France. The "authenticity and safety" of a lawyer conducting and escrow is applicable only if both the parties are in Canada/Quebec and bound by the the rules there. On an international playing field, its irrelevant.
