Source code and downloads have been taken down, and the network has not sent blocks for a few hours now.  A few peers are one protocol version ahead, 70003 vs 70002 but that version is not available.  What gives?

Relaunch after a week of mining??  That has to be a record.  So all us poor suckers who wasted hash on it lose all our coins?  Or is it more like a hard fork and current coins are preserved?
