At the same plant, at about the same time frame, though I didn't do it, a quarter of a million dollars of kangaroo meat came in that wasn't ordered. What was ordered was horse from Australia. The kangaroo was sold at a discounted price to White Castle. Sounds far-fetched, but is a true story.

I would still be working there if they didn't force me to go to the Playboy Club in Wisconsin. Also true. Somehow corporate in Chicago didn't take too kindly to what I did there. BTW, it had nothing to do with drinking, the girls, and damage to property.

I only realized it after the deal was sealed and we couldn't change the price. The client was also surprised about the low price but they kept silent. Even though i was real close to My boss he was furious and didn't talk to me for a week. I pretty much assumed I'll be fired as the firm had to take a $40K loss on the deal.
