Hi !

I need a solution to run bitcoin on a Linux Lenny dedicated Server


Any Ideas?

Does the binary included with the standard bitcoin not work? This is assuming you have shell access, otherwise you are out of luck...

If you download the bitcoin-0.5.2.tar.gz package for Linux, you should be able to unpack it and run the bitcoind binary as ./bitcoin-0.5.2-linux/bin/32/bitcoind . It works fine on Debian Squeeze, but even that's old.

I run it in screen to keep it persistent (and p2pool in another screen window!), or you can use nohup, etc.
