None of these copy and paste coins have any chance of ever reaching Bitcoin levels, and that includes Doge and Blackcoin.

If you want to speculate on what coins have a shot of even obtaining half of Bitcoin's marketshare, look to next generation coins that are bringing something more to the table other than just a new name.

For example, eXocoin, Nxt, Counterparty, all of these have a much better shot of massive adoption and increased value than just another QT wallet with a different name and picture.

LOL. I just got that from the BlackCoin website, since it says it "is the first PoW/PoS hybrid coin to fully reach the purely PoS stage"

That could be true as the older PoW/PoS hybrids never switched to fully PoS mode. Actually Cloudcoin and ADT did but not intentionally Smiley

Where does ADT fit in ? Buddy just cancelled mining on it one day lol

FUD first & ask questions later™

Lol, what you see are just bagholders of bitcoin responding.....

Its always the same story the first one want to stay at the top no matter what happens.

Im no bagholder of BTC.
Asiacoin cant make it just because it has nothing special.
The relative short mining period and the unnecessary blockhalving (for a coin mined so short time) lead to very poor distribution.
Expect some pump and dump if anything happens at all, i see no long term gains for Asia coin.

To sum up only BTC is most safe

DogeCoin was the first coin that had random block rewards, and BlackCoin the first PoW/PoS hybrid.

A bit inaccurate Smiley.

First random block reward coin was Junkcoin.
First PoW/PoS hybrid was Novacoin

Edit:

First PoW/PoS hybrid was Peercoin for SHA and Novacoin for script.
Blackcoin was the one that started multi-pool for another coin other than btc...If not the first, it was the one that made other coins change the way they think.

If the trend lines for BTC don't change very soon, BTC will not be the most safe. If anything, Darkcoin looks the most safe these days, and DRK always had about the best charts. BTC just keeps going down with lower and lower support levels. Everyone knows it, but they try and come up with special "exponential" charts that are based on things other than what people buy and sell Bitcoin for. Future potential sort of stuff, hope and dreams. Real charts look more like a sinking ship and people in denial.

Could Asiacoin Rival Bitcoin long term? Cheaper, faster, better, sure, why not? New people have no loyalty to Bitcoin. Some new people don't even like the Silk Road Rep. Gox, Foundation, on and on... If AC is still around a year from now with the interest at 2% and has massive adoption, what will Bitcoin be by then? Depends on if the rich people buy in soon and pump BTC and LTC up.

Blackcoin seems more like a rival to me than Asiacoin, but along with BC, a couple others like AC/CINNI could end up like LTC. Crazy talk? Who knows... Guess we will see how it plays out long term.

Never think like this. Asiacoin is too young to beat other good coins like LTC/DOGE ...
