omfg cyborgs, I think it's a really great idea to help blind and deaf people with it and use it for medical reasons but you're right, pretty much every sci-fi film/t.v. show scenario involving cybernetics is going to happen with this stuff if we don't make sure these things aren't connected to a network etc.

Wow this sounds unrealistic but I imagine if blind people could see again with this chip? That would be so amazing.

I believe a day will come, where we will really have one or more than super power, although majority of people will refuse to have implants in their brains.
One thing would concern me is losing freewill and being controlled by implant.

Every time I see something about somebody's cybernetic implant that goes into the brain, I'm like, "OMG -- Borg!" Anyone else?

Sign me up! As soon as something like this has a reasonable level of safety and assuming I can afford it, I'm all over this. Why not? It's like buy more ram for your computer

brain is ; like a whole human body, and adaptabla and changable organism. if there was a need for something more, it would develop them slowly over the time.

You might be right, but if many people have more than one, will they actually be super powers anymore? Or at that point will they be more like regular powers?
