Hello,

I am the founder and editor of Coin Brief, which is a hub of digital currency news, information, and tools.

Between the time spent on news articles, I am writing "What is xxx?" for various coins.  While I am planning on adding every important altcoin eventually, I am willing to do ones that are offering bounties quicker, as I can then use those funds to pay our other authors to write additional articles.

If you know of a coin that has a bounty out for this type of writing, or needs some other sort of analysis written, please let me know.  (I also may be willing, on a case by case basis, to negotiate for followed links to my article from the coin's main page.)

Few examples of this style article I have written in the past:

http://coinbrief.net/what_is_myriadcoin/
http://coinbrief.net/what-is-digibyte/
http://coinbrief.net/currency-reddcoin/
http://coinbrief.net/what-is-bitcoin/

Reddcoin and Bitcoin were two of my early ones, and are a bit more bland.

What are the costs for a writer? So on a case by case scenario how much do you charge to do analysis then write up?

I'm mostly interested in coin bounties, which are usually put forth by the developers.  In some cases I would be willing to do it for mutual marketing, either alone, or combined with a smaller bounty.

Honestly, as I said, I plan on eventually writing these articles for every popular altcoin that I can, but that is going to take a very long time.  This is more a way to help focus me on ones that will immediately help me, by giving me increased page rank \ authority in digital currency (through mutual marketing), or through funds, which will allow me to hire more freelance writers for news stories, and free me up to do more currency analysis.

So, there is not really a specific cost.  It varies depending on the currency in question.

If you are a developer \ representing a specific coin, just send me a PM and I'll check it out.

we certainly could make a bounty for a rapecoin article:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395747.240

some voices from the community:
"I feel this coin will overtake Litecoin in 2014"
"This will catch and not offend anyone at all."
"This is the state of altcoins."
"I dont give a **** what anyone says, this is downright THE most retarded shitcoin ever."
