Hi everyone,

I have been lurking for a while and decided to join so I could post a question. Where can I sell my 9 AntMiner S1's? Is eBay or craigslist the best option? Other places? Thanks.

These generate too much heat in my small bedroom  Cry Cry Cry ... i'm going to keep 9, and sell 9 as of right now.

You could sell them on here but people would want proof of ownership  pictures showing you have them and also to do local due to low post count and some sort of escrow service. Other than that you could sell them on ebay but they don't like people selling mining equipment but many still do it and get away with it. Even I have sold a few units on their before now and other mining equipment. Is totally up to you where you want to sell them. More places you list more chance you have of someone looking at it and maybe buying them from you.

Ebay to get the best price, got $210-$225 + $25 for shipping UPS ground for my 5 Ant S1's,but bidders are stretching payments out as long as they can for whatever reason.

Had 4 bidders I had to cancel bids from,no communication on their part & delayed payments  Roll Eyes

I did 1 day auctions & requested payment in 12hrs,most don't read or know what they are doing,so stay on top of your bidders dude!!  Wink

BTW,Ebay had no issues with me selling my miners, its selling BTC they really frown on.

Sold one of my miners on Ebay and 2 on Craigslist.  Just see what works best for you in your area.

So you foolishly dove into buying a bunch of ASICs and now you realize they won't earn you anywhere near as much as you thought they would, so you come up with this lame, half-assed excuse of "they make my room too hot, whaaaaaa....." to have a reason to sell them?

You should have read some of my posts telling why buying ASICs are a bad idea before blowing your cash on them.

Asics are not a bad idea buying providing you buy them at the right time and mine the right coins. Mining Bitcoin is stupid right now with any asic unless its big in TH or free energy. Best place I find to mine with my 3 ants are on alt coins and still make at least double or even triple what I would make mining Bitcoin.

I want to know how you're driving 18 S1s in your bedroom... at stock clocks and 360W each, you're looking at 6480W total power at a minimum.

In any case, eBay, Craigslist, etc are all viable selling channels.

Good question.  How do you run 18 ASIC in your bedroom?  I can only run 4 without tripping the breaker.

I have had them for months. It was fine in the Minnesota winter, where the outside temperature was 20-30 F each day, and in the 0's-teens at night. They heated my room to around 65 F.

Now, that it is 80+ outside, I cannot bear the heat.

Whatever his excuses - even if he made a mistake hes just simply asking where to offload.

Craigslist and ebay best  bet.
