I've been searching for a chart or some way to calculate an estimated hash rate before mining, but have come up empty. I know Scrypt-N is about half the hashrate of Scrypt, but what about SHA-3 (Keccak), X11, Quark, or Groestl?

If someone could post what 1 MH/s of Scrypt is equivalent to on each of these algos, I would much appreciate it. Or post what an i5-4560 or 7950 would be. Thank you!

Agreed. This would be nice info. I'm interested in CPU coins like quark, particle.

Myriadcoin is trying to do something like this. Check here for the different hashrates of the different algorithms you can mine Myriadcoin with: http://myriad.theblockexplorer.com/

Myriadcoin - the first multi-PoW blockchain! (Mine with SHA256 [ASICs], Scrypt [GPU/ASICs], Skein [GPUs], Groestl [GPUs], OR Qubit [CPUs/GPUs]).

Cool thanks. Could use a little more data. If I can get the info for all the algorithms, I'll make a nice chart for future reference?

This is what I have so far.

Scrypt 1 MH/s
Groestl 790 KH/s
Skein 977 KH/s
Qubit 1.07 MH/s

Need:
SHA-256
SHA-3/Keccak
Scrypt-N
X11

For Cuckoo Cycle of size 2^{30}, aka cuckoo30:

single-threaded:    0.00018  42-cycles/second
4-threads:            0.00061  42-cycles/second

These are average rates, since running a single cuckoo30
instance has about 2.2% chance of finding a 42-cycle.
Multiply the above rates by 45 to get instances/second.

1 MH/s of scrypt mining will equivalent to:
0.45MH/s of Scrypt-N
3MH of X11
0.5MH/s of Keccak
0.45MH/s of Quark
0.45MH/s of Groestl

Based on r9 290

Scrypt - 835 KH/s
Scrypt-N - 835 KH/s
X11 - 2600 KH/s
Keccak - 485 KH/s
Qubit   - 5.65 Mh/s
Groestl - 15.54 Mh/s
Skein   - 225 MH/s
SHA256 - 835 MH/s
