Hmm... I have checked about this in Bitlegal. Seems that the possession and trading of Bitcoins (and for that matter any other crypto-currency) is perfectly legal in both Spain and Portugal.

I came within milliseconds of starting a new thread entitled "What's the deal with Portugal and Spain pertaining to Bitcoin" upon seeing this thread, but opted to not press my luck.

Yes they havnt banned it rather spain has accepted as a currency.

Thanks a lot for your information. I have also notice that Portugal and Spain has not banned Bitcoin. I hope Portugal will be start accepting BTC as a currency.
